There was me, that is Yuki, and my three droogs, that is Mii-kun, Rii-san, and Kurumi-chan, and we sat in the Megurigaoka High School trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Megurigaoka High School stored milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

And yeah, I have been having some crippling existential dread about my eventual oblivion as I was getting closer to my big 40. Hopefully I can get to a point soon where that stuff returns to the back of my mind instead of being something that I actively think about 80% of my waking days to the point of having mild panic attacks. Wheeee.....
Anyway! In other news, my girlfriend and I are officially engaged now! Planning to get married 28 December. Been going really well. We actually started looking for a new place again recently and are actually in contract for a new home! If all goes well, we should be closing on it 11 June. Mostly just waiting for the appraisal to come back at this point. Hopefully there aren't any issues! The place is really nice with a huge finished basement that will be our bedroom and board game room and then with 4 bedrooms on the main level, that will be plenty for our two offices/hobby rooms, a manga library room, and even a guest bedroom. Will finally be able to get the rest of my stuff moved in from my mom's house!! XD
Other than that, not too much to report. Just been living, working, gaming, and doing a bit of anime watching here and there. We did watch Frieren, the new #1 anime of all time!! It was a really nice series, but I am a little surprised that it resonated so strongly with enough people to not only hit #1 on MAL, but be just shy of 0.3 higher of a score than FMA Brotherhood! I mean, I gave it a solid 9 and currently rank it as my #53 on my Top 100 Anime/Manga Series spreadsheet (yep, I'm still doing that), but I have rather wide tastes and am usually pretty generous with my scores when they're things I enjoy. Not mad or anything; while I do have Brotherhood as a 10/10 and have it at #15 in my ranking, it's not something that I have any crazy loyalty to, and I'm much happier to have a "core" anime entry overtake it instead of a fucking Gintama sequel or some shit. Just a little surprising that Frieren was able to break through the way it did.
