what is your experience with umineko (because I see you have battler in favs)? I read the manga because a friend recommended it to me, it was good s I watched the anime after, never read the VN.

I think that depends more on personal preference, but besides those two I like Splash Star, Fresh, and Maho Girls the best.

Tell me about it, while I was reading I kept telling myself "Mor will snap out of it and join the fight surely... maybe the power of love... maybe some Fanaris black magic?" yet nothing happened. I was a bit horrified when all characters that I loved except for some were mind controlled by Sindbad, that part was scary. I theorized that we would get a Sin and his generals vs Alibaba and his pals full fight but Ohtaka had other ideas. Not that I mind, I loved Final arc.

My top 5 Magi, whoa that's so hard
1. Hakuryu (I will explain myself XD)

3. Alibaba
4. Morgiana
5. Sheba

Thing is, I have some sorta fixation and admiration for characters who want revenge and fight against their fate, Hakuryu lost his brothers, his cozy life, his mom is evil, then he got that nasty scar and he had to fight against his friends because of his ideals and he actually managed to kill Alibaba and lost his one and only comrade Judar. I liked how he decapitated Madaura, that was sick.
There are almost to none elements that I dislike at him, he even had the guts to confess to Mor, he even kissed her, yet she chose Alibaba which was hilarious but that's not the subject here LOL.
Some people will say that I look at anime characters in an edgy way hence why I have Light, Eren and the like in my favs (and I like Kei from Gantz) but I don't know, I just like that attitude and it's positive in its own way. Looking at these characters going forward against all odds makes me feel good and I cheer for them.

Van's occupation is similar to Gintoki's too, so the comparison makes sense indeed. I don't have an issue with CS/Azure bonding mechanics, though, adds value to replayability and I generally like when I have to select one over the other. There is still some stuff I haven't seen in Cold Steel, for example, even though I've replayed it several times.

Can't say the new OST is bad, but it's definitely not as memorable. Same with the character artwork - in my opinion it looks worse than in any previous game. It's probably the first time 3D models look much better than 2D art. It gets better in Kuro 2, however.

Indeed. Especially since he dropped his act by the end of first cour and he never does that stuff again. Overall, the hate is heavily forced because haters still have to refer to his long forgone antics.

A few years from now it's going to be a decade since I bought Berseria on Steam and I still haven't played it or any other Tales game. I played Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden and currently playing through Persona 3 Reload. Can't call myself a fan, P5 was great, but P4 and P3 seem to be on a weaker side. Still decent games, though, all things considered. NieR: Automata is among my favorites, haven't played any other Yoko Taro game. Love all four Valkyrie Chronicles games, it's a shame it looks like Sega abandoned this series. By this point, they could've at least ported 2&3 on PC, easy money since both games are fire, especially the third one — I think the best one among the four.

Now, what else was there? With games it can be sometimes difficult to remember since I don't have a list similar to MyAnimeList for them.
Atelier. Haven't reached Ryza yet, the ones I played were fun, but not extraordinary.
Final Fantasy. Played VII, VIII, XIII, XV, and one mmorpg one, only liked VII and even still, in my eyes it is very far from being a masterpiece despite what its critical acclaim might imply.
Langrisser 1 & 2. Very good. Nice artwork, gameplay and story, can't say a single bad thing about this series.
Hyperdimension Neptunia. Fun & cute, can get a bit lackluster from time to time story-wise.
Do Dark Souls count?.. Well anyway, love 1 & 2, dropped the 3rd game. Code Vein is more to my liking aesthetically, but was a bit weaker gameplay-wise.
Can't think of anything else right now.

Kougyoku is great, it took me by surprise when she took over the throne and she actually wanted to change Kou, she lacked Hakuei's exaggerated view on things which is good in my opinion, with all the hardships she managed to be pragmatic enough to rule. I enjoyed the final arc so much because of that element - the changing of Kou with the help of Alibaba.

But if I had to choose a favorite girl from Magi, my answer will be kinda boring, it's Morgiana. A slave girl who managed to change her life against all odds and I think a tear fell from my eye when she kept the chains on her legs as metal vessel, very emotional moment.

Nice, Firo is a great guy and they make a cute pair. Does DRRR has the same atmosphere sorta like Baccano? I avoided it for such a long time that I forgot why LOL. I only watched Baccano last year.
