The first one I sent, after all, did explain that MAL was giving me shit about my inbox being full and demanding I delete messages, after which I asked if it would be preferable to move to email, and then I replied to your own message. I'm half way through LOGH, took a break right after Reinhardo's coronation. I was actually surprised to see the war between the empire and alliance end so early. I am eager to get back to it, but I found that staggering large series by season ensures I don't get burned out with them. Been more invested in Hunter X Hunter lately, another one I never thought I'd actually like.

TOO BAD! :P I waited until finishing Dance with Dragons before watching the last season... which ruined it for me, because they've cut out a book and a half worth of content in lieu of just making shit up now. I have to either drop the series from now on, or watch it first, but then there's still the chance the few things that ARE faithful will spoil the books for me... if GRRM actually plans to write any more.

uh yeah, so anyway, finally revisiting that LOGH thing we talked about like.... two years ago? I actually liked it much more as of just a few episodes after where I stalled on it last. And the second season I absolutely loved.
While I still dislike the writing in handling martial tactics, because I know the subject well enough to roll my eyes too often, the politics get much MUCH better. Currently half way through the series, and grateful my ex made me give it a second chance.

Speaking of our early dialogue, I finally got back to that Jdrama Shinsengumi (you probably remember none of this :D ). It got much better after about episode 12. About half way through, and then I can finally watch that show Jin you recommended to me whenever I finish! (hey, better late than never, eh?)

Well, I like dreams and surrealism because the absurd mostly has something to do, it has a psychological background, or a strong expressive meaning. Counterculture is a good example. It's like you said, an unrest in the soul. If you are angry and shout a dirty word, people will only see you as a shameless person. But inside of you, behind that vulgar word, there's a lot of feeling goin on, a lot of stuff you can't just tell someone with common words, and when some of those feeling are working on your head while making art, your art will probably end up like a weird piece. Same as dark humour or ero-guro. There's a lot of criticism on it, and even self hatred, stuff to make you feel how filthy you are and force you to laugh at it.
