I try to enjoy all types of anime, but I'll always be biased towards psychological themes. I also love fun action shows about growth and love, such as every Trigger masterpiece and Hajime no Ippo. Experimental animation such as Ping Pong, Kaguya-hime, and Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei fascinate me and bring my overall enjoyment of shows that attempt this, successfully, up by quite a bit. In shows where the theme is less important, characters that are extremely individualized from one another and problematic usually get my attention and appreciation. If the world is supposed to be realistic, the characters should feel just as real. Creators like Masaaki Yuasa, Inio Asano, and Taiyou Matsumoto design worlds that envelop and characters that feel completely unique and profound. Evangelion is my soul, and I will always stand by the fact that it is truly groundbreaking.
God's in his heaven, all's right with the world
for those who said he ruined yakusoku no neverland, he didn't do it. the adaptation is very solid with consistent quality. the anime just has 12 eps dude dont you know that? that's why not the whole chapter not being adaptated but this guy made it verry good direcred. I am the manga reader of original story btw..
so dont blame how he directed the promise neverland because he did a good job, blame the studio that only gave 12 eps, because in fact there is a lot of bad/fail example of anime adaptation.
