Interesting that she hails from rural Kansas (I've seen her hometown on the map; it's in the middle of absolute nowhere), and now she's a star in the dubbed anime world. She's sorta like Dorothy in a way...:) I wonder how many other anime stars came from flyover country; interesting if you think of anime as liked mainly by college sophisticates.
