TV Anime 'Gundam Build Fighters' to Receive New Project [Update 5/11]

The official website for Gundam Build Fighters series has released a PV for a new project titled Gundam Build Extra Battle Project on Sunday. It is still not clear if it is related to the remaining OVA that has been previously announced.

Gundam Build Fighters is one of the Gundam series that received two TV series on Fall 2013 and Fall 2014. It has been previously announced that there will be two OVAs will be produced and so far a summer special has aired on TV on August 2016.

Update May 11
The detail of the new project has been revealed. There will be two new original anime titled GW no Gyakushuu and Battlelogue. Battlelogue will be a short film.

Battlelogue Key visual and streaming information for both project have been announced.

First ep. of Battlelogue will be available on August 4 via Amazon Prime Video, Gundam Fan Club, Bandai Channel, Gundam Build Fighters Series Official Site, and Bandai Hobby Site.

GW no Gyakushuu will be available between August 25 to 31 via Gundam Fan Club, Bandai Channel, Gundam Build Fighters Series Official Site, and Bandai Hobby Site (so only 1 ep.?).

I was hoping the new project would be a 2 hour movie or something. Still better than nothing I guess. I miss this show a lot.

So still no idea if this are prequel/sequel to GBF/GBF Try or Island wars?

The build fighters was fantastic but the build fighters try is basically ridiculous too much op shit and the story line is horrible compare to the original build fighters

Well, that trailer was basically a waste of time as it revealed nothing except the name of the new series.

Too bad it is called an "extra", and it may not be another full series. It will probably be the OVAs previously announced.

I hope we can see Sei and Reiji reunited. Would be great if try fighters cast fought with the original series cast, though the 2 OVAs are supposedly separate for each series.

And of course, I hope there is more Aila. She was best girl.
