Character Designs of New Precure Series Revealed

According to Toei Animation, the ninth series of precure "Smile Precure!" was announced to start on February 5th 2012. The character designs of the new precure were revealed.

Cure Rouge is the red flame of passion and we got a Cure Passion with red as her colour theme and what about the names Cure Bloom and Cure Flower?

Well...Cure Passion=passion fruit, so no to that one. I see what you are saying though. There's also Cure Blossom.

But these names might possibly be real...I thought it was confirmed by an official japanese source already, but maybe not. At least, that's what I read on the Precure LiveJournal.

With my friend translated names of characters from Smile Precure`s poster:

Pink precure - Hoshizora Miyuki
Orange precure - Hino Akane
Yellow precure - Kise Yayoi
Blue precure - Aoki Reika
Green precureMidorikawa Nao

They look surprisingly good to me, even though it's kind of generic. But I like this style.
I'm not a huge fan of Precure but maybe I'll try it again.

Uhhhhh, those names have not been confirmed. The only source for that was 2chan. I'd think they'd have more creative names in mind.

TOTALLY STOKED FOR THIS THOUGH. I hope more images surface, because I am still not very happy with the green cure's hair. :C

I saw the suite precure and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a watch for me because who doesnt love lolis+magic girl :D

So much want. Designs look mostly somewhere between Heartcatch and Yes! with a hint of Fresh in there too.

Hopefully it'll include the usual level of adorableness and sheer badassery as I'd expect from the franchise.
