According to the handout by Toei Animation, Doki Doki! Precure was announced to be aired from February 3rd 2013. The handout revealed the character designs with good resolution.

Why are almost all blue Cures the studying/calm demeanor kinds? I wanna see a bubbly blue, or a lady-like yellow or a purple that doesn't look like the mysterious/mature type, keep things varied, or is it too much to ask? O_o

I also miss Heartcatch, the story was more developed and took more risks. One thing I liked, the main Cure wasn't just the bubbly, happy go lucky default kind, she was shy and introverted and worked to overcome that, I loved it. It also had a hyper blue that wasn't a study lady kind :D

I for one am disappointed they used the same themes as Fresh Precure, they tried to keep each season with their own theme, but not this one? Let's see how it turns out to be, but usually with this show I like one season but not the next one.

Cure Rosetta/Yotsuba Alice is my favorite so far. <3
I hope that this will be a good series to watch in 2013!

What the fuck is that creepy baby mascot thing? Kill it with fire.

The girls look ok, the orange one especially is adorable.
And holy shit, the pink girl looks a lot like Miyuki from Smile in the civilian form.

It's not stated in there, but a few sites have posted additional info such as the theme involving playing cards, the names and etc. Based on what I read here, Cure Heart is the pink one, the others being Cure Sword, Rosetta and Diamond. Tbh I don't know how much of this is official or reliable, though it seems to make sense so far.

Thanks! A lot of interesting stuff there. It looks like the monstrosity baby isn't a fairy after all. That's a relief. It still creeps me out though.

The mascot thing looks horrible. Also, the pink one looks like Cure Peach.

By the way. Looks like Toei is doing better designs on Star Plus One.

Cmon its already a children show from the first season already. Or you guys just find that out already recently? And its not so bad, would you prefer it to be an adult show then?

Those guys that don't like the other seasons, then why are you guys watching then? Its like forcing yourself to eat some disgusting while not enjoying it at all. Just stick to which you like. But of course each of one of us have diffirent opinions so I hope that I don't have to argue with anyone

I'm not really care about the the character and mascots looks like. All I care is the story line and character development. Oh and the music too. By the look of it,the leader looks great and I find that pretty cure just get better and better. Kinda like Suite and Smile(which is the most hilarious).

Color scheme reminds me of Fresh, Cure Heart's design made me think of Cure Bloom, and art style looks similar to Suite. Very spiral-y but I'm liking the designs. The baby mascot is unsettling though.

Will watch. Pretty Cure approaching its tenth anniversary! :)
