As for the beginning with Nodoka kissing her pinky and all that blushing and lunch sharing... this should end up being the Strawberry Panic of mahjong. I'm still sticking with this since it amuses me somehow regardless of me still not knowing the rules of mahjong. |

| See, what I don't get is why so many people are blasting this show for shit that K-On is getting praised for. It's really all about the same in the end, although with more plot focus and less contrived moe nonsense then K-On. Plus this show has more mahjong then that show has music playing so really, how much more Mahjong do you people need? I think it's just the Gonzo Sucks, Kyoani Rules meme rearing it's ugly head again. For a moe show this is pretty enjoyable compared to it's more hyped competetion, even if it's not as well animated. Also I call bullshit on the idea that this is unoriginal. Go ahead and give me another series that centres around moe girls playing Mahjong? Go on, I'm waiting? |

| That was good episode. It has nice plot because Nodoka and Saki will practice harder after they learned that Koromo defeated a pro player. This way, they will be serious to play mahjong tournament. That was interesting to learn about that one. I loved some Nodoka scenes, and she is so cute! Blushing Nodoka and Saki are so moe. I hope that Saki and Nodoka will kiss in this series. I believe they start and $1000 USD and go up from there. Hell, I know people who take Pinochle that serious! What kills me is how unrealistically serious some people anime - it's a CARTOON! Sit back and enjoy! There a time and a place for everything in anime, and Saki is definately not a drippy weepy soap opera like Suzuka or Peach Girl, it's meant to be silly and fun. In my book, silly and fun rock. |
| I'm pretty late in commenting for this chapter, but there's something left to be said: Didn't Saki develop her astonishing ability to get +/- 0 because her family got pissed when she always won? And now it turns out that her sister is actually a better player than her? If someone could fill this plothole (or more like a character settings hole) please tell me. |

| Nice episode, but that girl from the opposing girl must be amazing @_@ although her melancholic attitude on the roof seemed to depict her character differently from how she was portrayed. My mistake last episode mistaking that pro player for her sis @_@ they looked similar from what I'd seen xD |
