| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, this is really good, better then i expected for the 1st episode. I really liked the characters, the story and the musics. And it was really fun to try to understand their talking. They used many terms from the language of feudal japan. I think i could understand almost everything, but i really need to confirm watching it subbed. Expect someone do it fast, and in high quality res, since i watched at bad res. Also, i could notice some similarity with Utawarerumono (another work from the same producers), which was wonderful to me. I love the artwork and the background music in them. |

| Wow, even though the raw I downloaded was bad res this was very good. I wasn't sure what to expect from this show and I'm pleasantly suprised to find it probably the best I've seen so far for this season. |

| The first episode was pretty decent and set things up for a (most likely) good second episode. With this series, going by the description, i wasn't really worried about the first few episodes being good though. I'm worried about an index type situation where the series starts off good and then goes in to the trash. I'm sure the story around the demon awakening and then fighting off those soldiers will be interesting, but after that it sounds like it turns in to a random adventures show (based on description) which doesn't sound too promising to me at least. Yeah, i think it does resemble Utawarerumono a bit and i'd guess it will even more in the future. Who wants to bet the demon king falls for the priestess, just like in Utawarerumono and he fights off the soldiers of the empire for her, just like in Utawarerumono? Although i guess that series was more about higher level stuff like politics and wars than a small band fighting and adventuring around the country side. |

That is something special for me to say cause I hate 90% of all anime girls, cause they are so fake. (though seeing how she clings to the demon king in the opening makes me fear I might start hating her soon enough :P) I didn't know anything about the plot when watching this, so I was surprised that the evil demon king is the handsome guy from the opening. ^^ |

| That wasn't bad, but the OP really screamed "Utawarerumono" all over, and not only because of Suara. Not a bad thing trying to borrow a bit of its success, I guess, but a little originality would have been nice imo. As for the episode itself, I didn't mind the dialogues at all, they weren't boring. Also some nice suspense was built already with the first episode.. and the fact that I was like "OMG RIANNON DON'T DIE" shows that they must've done something right while introducing the characters. So this show is definitely a keeper for me for at least a few more episodes. 4/5. |

| I thought this was a pretty decent first episode. I wasn't really expecting much from this series, but the plot so far seems interesting enough to keep my attention. The animation quality is way better than I thought it was going to be. Definitely off to a good start, hopefully it doesn't all come tumbling down. |

| So far so good. Fantasy setting is cool, there is some blood. Demon King reminds me Archer (F/SN). I have a good feeling about this title. (just noticed image of battlehammer wielding loli in promo poster, damnit -_-') |
