| According to the official campaign page for the republishing of light novel "IS: Infinite Stratos" by the new publisher Overlap, the light novel will get a new TV series. No other details are available yet. In the new version of the light novel, the character designs have changed due to the illustrator changing from okiura to CHOCO. In addition, the following is the publication schedule: Apr 25th - Vol.8 (including a deluxe edition containing a DVD), Vol.1 & 2 May 25th - Vol.3 Jun 25th - Vol.4 Jul 25th - Vol.5 Aug 25th - Vol.6 & 7 Source: image from the official campaign page IS: Infinite Stratos 2 on MAL |

| @symbv You should probably note when the new volume will be released too for additional information about the news. Hmm, if it's a sequel, I guess it would cover up to volume 7, though that would burn out all the materials like Haganai. Then again, I'll get to see >you will never see the other 2 chapters of vol4 be animated D: If it's a remake, I'll still watch it, though remaking a show that aired just 2 years ago is just weird. As for the LN, I don't like the art of the new illustrator, especially the eyes. The previous one was better but that's life I guess. Will read if T_P decides to translate it. Otherwise, will wait. |

| Remakes and sequels to series you didn't think would get any. Good for IS but i pray for the day a Durarara or Baccano sequel is announced. I mean why the hell not? WHY WHY WHY?!! arghhh it's killing me!! |
