I'd been thinking about it for a while, and your post convinced me that I shouldn't take up a minor just for the sake of achieving proficiency. Then again, I am pretty lazy and not the greatest language learner, so it's might take a while longer than three years to get to somewhere practical...
I'm kinda doing the same thing: I live in San Francisco -- I moved here like almost 2 months ago, although I've been living in the US for 5 years now. It's so fun here, much better than the places I've lived before, although I do want to visit Japan soon though! Must. Save. Then. Get. That. Tourist. Visa. LOL. I suppose learning the language too would help, neh?
What made you move to Japan? Are you originally from the US? :)

I hope A-5 will top A-4. A-4 was awesome. I lol'd a lot in the first half of Rinchuu's route.

Dying from Benkei's cuteness already though? Imagine Yoshitsune's route.
I would have been fine with it if was Miyako instead of Koyuki on that super big battle route on Majikoi S. I guess it's because Miyako really is the 正妻. xD Way more than any other character at least! lol
He's more experienced and skilled but as far as I know, no one is stronger than Momoyo on Majikoi. xD
I love music a lot. Wish they sell Majikoi and Majikoi S soundtrack. I'd so buy it. Apparently Margit's after story route on A5's mostly just more h-scene, but I'm looking forward to Yoshitsune's route!
