A nice fanservice ending with appearances from all the cast : )

This "anime" was a unique diversion from the usual that Japan usually puts out. I barely even class it as one, save for the fact that it's animation made in Japan. All of the animals in the show had unique quirks to them I really enjoyed and always brought a smile to my face.

Bye Polar Bear Cafe, I'll miss you. A slice-of-life completely of its own; A 7 out 10

I liked this episode, while it wasn't what I was expecting for a final episode the last half was really nice. I liked seeing everyone come back.

That was a great touch having them in the background doing the voices of the paper dolls in front. Great entertaining series.

I was just one huge smile covered with goosebumps as the ED rolled in. This series was so very heartwarming and a safe haven for me to return to every week. Already missing all the loveable characters.. How can this be over? Next week there won't be another episode. The still life at the café will continue, but we won't be able to take part anymore. It's so cruel.

Farewell, dear friends.

That was quite a nice ending.

I'm going to miss this epic voice cast voicing animals. Yeah I agree, the preview with them was a nice touch.

Llama sitting on the chair was hilarious. Too bad we never actually saw Penguin as he sat down.

Lol I know right. I was watching this with my sister and it took us both a second to register that it was Sloth and then we cracked up.

Ahh, how I enjoyed it over a year... I'm surely gonna miss it :'(

It was sure heartwarming to see all the casts' name individually handwritten in the ED (the manga artist pointed it out in his/her Twitter). Kudos to everyone who made this show awesome!

Lol, 50 episodes for them to get curious about Penguin's life outside of his romantic adventures. I'm amazed at how diligent Panda managed to be, figured he would get tired of it really early on. Glad Penguin didn't end up moving, that would have been too sad after having seen Full-time Panda go. And how wonderful that he showed up after thinking about him from that. xD Mei Mei freaking out was something amazing.

I can't believe it's been a whole year now.

Ahh, I really loved this series. I'm going to miss my weekly dose.

It was great seeing Full Time Panda back, how Shirokuma would miss Penguin, and everyone gathering at the cafe to watch the cherry blossoms. Nice call back to a year ago.

I hope to "see you again" soon, too. ;_;

I enjoyed the show. It was relaxing and unique like Natsume Yuujincho and such. Also, I learned a lot from the anime. (e.g. difference between King Penguin and Emperor one). It's nice to have at least one anime per season.

The finale was a routine episode as expected for this anime. This kind of slice-of-life anime has a strong selling point. That is, since the audience don't expect exciting development in the first place, all they have to do is just keep making routine stories. And since their episodes are routine, they can make sequels anytime if they want to. In contrast, it must be tough to create tense anime cuz people would expect a lot and criticize severely if the episodes don't meet demand for them.

:') A beautiful slice-of-life anime that I truly enjoyed watching each week. The characters are so close to me, I've been with them for a year <3 I'm sad to see this go. But its a wonderful end, and I cried a bit.

See you again, Shirokuma!
Panda!
Penguin!
Sasako-san!
Handa-san!
Llama-san!
Grizzly-san!
.....oh gosh the tears are coming I can't go on. I love you all! <3

Penguins and bears having a nice time under a Sakura Tree? Now there's something you don't see everyday. Lol @ the scenes after the credits are over. See you again! 7/10

From a quote by someone:

We still don't know how Penguin-san get on the chair yet. Surely there will be another season. They won't leave such a big plot hole unfilled, will they?

THIS.

Also, OP song 1 was pretty good imo:

Okay, I haven't actually finished this show yet, but I accidentally watched this episode. LOL Doesn't matter, it's episodic anyway.

Anyway, I might come back to edit this post, but my rating is an 8/10 and will probably stay that way. :3 This will be the first show I show to my future children.

yeah the voice cast is amazing. literally all of the stars are here! :D

and i disagree that it got dull. episodes 1 through 50 have always stayed consistent, some good episodes, some dull episodes but it's not like it declined or anything. the only thing that declined was comedy which was much stronger in the start.

I quit while i was still ahead and jumped to this episode after the 32th episode. I loved about half of the show but the team must have lost someone important because there was a major quality drop and i'm not just talking about the animation.

The characters start feel off and the show get's more "ridiculous". The show is about talking animals being somewhere between human and animal but you know what i mean right?

With slice of life titles, one of its most charming characteristics is how the smallest changes within their tight nit communities can have significant impacts on everything else. There's not much to this show aside from its character interactions and its pleasant scenery, so the slightest shifts from the norm can lend to great ripple effects. It makes you treasure the smaller moments in life, which I feel slice of life shows serve to highlight. Polar Bear Cafe is an amazing treat, where each and every episode is a joy to watch. I love the word play used throughout, and I love the quick verbal exchanges where you'd have to pay attention to know that someone was just insulted. I've definitely enjoyed myself, and I'll most like rewatch sporadic episodes in the future, thanks to its episodic nature.

Aww, what a great ending episode. You know I was actually wondering whether they'd show us how Penguin gets up on that chair ever since it came up ... well, we didn't find out after all, but I guess we found out a bunch of other things XD It was nice for the entire cast to get together at the end, and especially seeing Panda be so happy to see Full-time Panda again! :3 Very fitting end to the show :D Plus the "preview" with seeing the main seiyuus holding their characters' paper cut outs?! Awesome! XD

Overall I thought this was a great relaxing show to watch with some great funny moments. Of course, the best part was the wide cast of characters! They were so fun to watch and a lot of famous seiyuus here as well. The music was pretty good and I loved all the different endings for the characters. Art and animation were pretty simple but sometimes a bit sloppy, but nevertheless nice to look at. Solid 8/10!

Handa x Sasako didn't happen after all. Well, I guess it makes this show more realistic.

Yes very need season 2.
Some episodes were a bit weird,
but the good bits are exceptionally good.
Sad to say a temporary goodbye to a n acquainted series.
Watching Shirokuma cafe really have been a daily thing to do,
and as if all the people and places in this show have become a part of my daily life.
The fact that journey ends here, and the fact that they are now back to spring again,
kinda made me feel melancholy.
Sad, even a 50 episode show will eventually end.
