You should watch Barefoot Gen and you'll see why I gave Grave of the Fireflies a 5. They are two similar anime, but Barefoot Gen just did a better job. I think, but I've seen people go either way with these two.

As for Chaos;Head, This is actually not the first time I've heard someone say that, so I'm starting to sway that way.

Oh and Cat soup(Nekojiru-sou), its just very surreal and its best if you look at it more like you would a painting more than an anime, or better yet look at it like you would, Pink Floyd's The Wall. Plus, I'm a bit of a Dali fan, so seeing all the Dali influence is a bit of a plus for it.
