| The first part WAS a suicide attempt the cliff falling WAS NOT. If you compare the circumstances of both situations, then it was clearly NOT suicide at the ending scene, as for beginning ,she tried because the potion contained poison 1. She was tired, therefore she can't handle balancing very well I assume 2. She's on a cliff, therefore things aren't as great as they should be (bumps rocks, etc.) 3. Her dad's whip force was to possibly kill Babu, therefore it had a huge force no that I finally put out why I HIGHLY DOUBT the last part was suicide.. The episode was good overall xD I like the manga (still reading it, since I've been busy) and so far, the anime has been decent ,hopefully they don't decide to put out things, and add useless filler episodes.. orz overall 7.8/10 (because an 8 is too much at this point xDD 5 more eps then maybe) |

| I really hope her personality doesnt chance ;~; I really started to like her.. but I hope he becoming a zombie doesnt turn her into a needy, annoying, bitchy, stubborn type of character.. xP |
| Well, that was something else! Awesome. I didn't expect her to resurrect even by drinking the potion in advance! The episodes to come are promising to be very interesting. It looks like they are going to try and make her live like an ordinary girl despite her zombie appearance. I love the red eyes by the way. Good, I was pretty much done with that son of a bitch father anyway. It's very clear Rea chose Furuya. =) |

| So I'm going to assume his cousin died in that tunnel, and the camera will occasionally cut to gratuitous shots from behind her. Doesn't take away from her character, I'd say. OK episode. I've been waiting for Sanka to die to see the direction it will take now. And Babu is apparently a Pokemon. |

| Great episode, I was absolutely shocked when she just got completely impaled like that, damn, that was crazy. Finally, she's a zombie - this just keeps getting better. Also, I'm pretty excited for this zombie kiss next ep. Just sayin. |

| I assume catboy was going to at least attempt to catch her like run towards her or something. Till she hit the branch I was like oh never mind. Not going to lie Rea looks pretty hot when she looked up at catboy with the red eyes. |

| In Furuya's defense, I don't think he realized his cousin got stuck in the drain tunnel. Later he talked out loud wondering where she had gone. The tunnel was narrow enough that the bulk of his body probably muffled any noise coming from behind him. Just my guess, anyway. 7 or 8 is tentative rating based on first three episodes - worried that a good, though sad, drama might turn into a silly ecchi fest going forward. |

| Some news about anime and manga (don't worry no spoilers): chapter 27 has been finally translated and inside of it piece of info... Hattori-sensie is part of the staff and he said the script will be very true to the oryginal work. So we can expect some good piece of work :) |
Another very good episode. This and Jormungand are really proving to be the best this season. Seeing the images from the manga i have to say that the anime is a lot more beautiful. The art is more coherent and the colors really are amazing and making it seem a lot more vivid.    Her guts hanging out was creepy even with the black censor, i wonder if it will seem extremely disgusting in the Blu-Ray. So now he will have his zombi girlfriend. Question though. Would she smell and rot? Still it's sad seeing a young pretty girl like that dieing and becoming a zombie. I was sad seeing her fall down to such a gruesome death. The only pleasure in the incident was seeing her creepy father losing the ground under his feet from the shock. I hope he gets tortured by guild like crazy. On the other hand if in this series zombies don't look like abominations then her beauty will last forever. I also felt she got up a little too fast, it will have been better for the whole thing to be more slow and agonizing for suspense but i guess the episode was running out of time too and they wanted her up before the end. Btw she looked kind of sick and unbalanced even before her father arrived there so probably that had something to do with her losing her balance. Oh! yeah she also had the injured angle. P.S - Rea really plays that Zettai Ryouiki amazingly strong. Also how dare you leave the amazingly hot Wanko stuck in there and moving along you ungrateful main. Shame on you!  |

| Holy shit is this adaptation good, no way any Sankarea reader could not like this. This is beautiful in every single second, even her father's sick hobbies are so well depicted. I love the moment where she stood her ground in front of that bastard and damn, they did not hesitate showing her death (get over the censoring, you saw way more than in Blood-C). The moment she finally turned into a zombie was so well handled, her wicked smile could give you the creeps and now I realized what was bothering me the whole time about her design, those fucking eyes. Those red eyes make her to the Rea I know. On another note for non-readers, as it is mentioned above, Hattori Mitsuru is quite heavily involved in the production and will be adding stuff that is not in the manga, he even said the anime might be better. Joke or not, he could be damn right, this is getting better and better and I call it now, we will see a second season. The OP and ED are my favorites this season, Sankarea, you are so good. |

| I continue to be surprised by this. I wasn't expecting to like it- the synopsis makes it sound like the sort of thing I would usually drop very quickly- but I really do. Everything is handled so well; it's heartbreaking without becoming too dark, and the visuals, especially in this episode, are beautiful. I sincerely hope it doesn't disappoint in future. |

| Oh wow nice episode! The scene when Rea falls really leaves my in shock for several minutes!!! God.. and Rea's mother doesn't seem that bad... maybe she's trying to let Rea sneaking out by offering her husband a drink... So.. now that Rea finally become a zombie, will her breath become stinky and stuff??? That would be disgusting!!! |
| Now this is where the story gets interesting! The animators have done well adapting this part! Perfectly done right! Even I was surprised even knowing what is happening! Cannot wait for more! |

| Wow it keeps getting better ... i was so sad at. For the first Rea finally stand up against her, such a sick man completely evil, father but then dies. It wasnt the best way to go but now atleast she will have the life she wanted her Freedom and Furuya finally gets his living dead girl (Rob Zombie theme). Its ZOMBIE TIME!!! Babu is as cute as an Undead Button*smiles* |

| It's going to be hard to pick the anime of the season, there are a lot of strong contenders including this show. I'm going to have to shuffle my favourites list to move a couple of new characters on it: Sanka Rea and Kanoe Yuuko are both strong candidates. Which brings us to the question: would you rather fall in love with a ghost or a zombie? Someone should probably do a poll... |

| wow, rea's dad is such a nasty CREEP and her death was pretty disturbing, but it was AWESOME how she became a zombie right there and came to chihiro, with her guts hanging all over the place cant wait for the next ep, that kiss-looking scene in the preview gives me something to look forward to >.< |

| This show is fucking awesome. The death scene was not really emotional since I (and everyone else) knew she was going to become a zombie. Still awesome stuff. But oh the censoring, guess I'll download the BD's when they are released. And I laughed at the father, hopefully he got some mental trauma and went crazy never to become sane again. 5/5 |
