Final Season of Shakugan no Shana Due This Autumn [Update Aug 1]

According to Dengeki Bunko Magazine, Shakugan no Shana III will start this autumn. It will be the final season of Shana anime series.

Update on August 1st
According to Dengeki Bootleg mail magazine, the final 22th volume of Shana novel will be released on October 10th.

considering how much character developments have taken place in the 2nd season...I think this one will really focus on the plot and hopefully have a satisfactory ending

The only question that needs to be answered:

Will it be 1-cour? Or 2-cour?

Also, JC Staff is doing 3 shows this Fall; Bakuman 2, Kimi to Boku and this. Fall 2010 proves that JC Staff handling too many shows might not bode well; Index S2 has its quality episodes, Milky Holmes was either So Bad its Good/So Bad its Horrible territory, Bakuman was ... meh, while Zakuro was the only JC Staff production during that season that has consistent high-budget animation, but unfortunately the ending was generic.

Really hoping that Shana 3 will not turn out like Yumekui Merry when it comes to the action scenes.

About time they confirmed this one. Also the final volume of the novel is supposed to come out this year too so JC Staff really has no excuse to make an anime original ending
