| Nice solid episode. I wonder what kind of connection Grace has with that mysterious pilot. Also, I laughed at the scene where Michael is slapped by Klan =P |
| yeh some good scenes, klan so wants michael lol action scenes were great too well i dunno, was it really grace relaying the orders to the purple VF dude? hm i like the preview, with the relation to Macross Zero, i suppose Sheryl's role will become a bit more important aswell considering her family name nice episode |

| Macross F must be the most inconsistent show of this spring, with absolutely breathtaking episodes (the 7th for example) and really weak ones like the last two... |

| Kudos to the Macross F folks for giving Michael an actual tragic backstory. I usually feel like these "reason to fight" episodes fail to inspire proper sympathy, but in this case I could totally understand Michael's reasons for acting like he did. They could have easily spent 2 or 3 episodes on his backstory and I would've been fine with it. Also Klan versus the mysterious Valkyrie was plain awesome and had me on the edge of my seat! |

| Decent episode and all with some focus on a supporting character although i still don't like that Michael guy much. Klan is too awesome at her normal form that is very sad she has that stupid loli form when she gets human sized. Btw can't human or halfbreeds turn into giants with the same machine? I hate arrogant bishies that try to play mysterious so i dislike the red plane guy. I noticed the talk Ranka's manager had about the sites getting hacked. I had that impression from last time when that guy said to keep tags on Ranka but now it's obvious. Her TV appearance getting cancelled, the net promotion attempts getting hacked. Obviously some government guys know something about her and they are keen on stopping her from creating a singing career. |

| By the way, these VF knives are clearly an NGE influence The type of weapon Brera used to destroy the nest...it really gave off some Gundam vibes. I wonder if Brera works for Leon (he was trying to conceal his presence at the battle for Galaxy, and he might have reasons to destroy the evidence, though the one giving orders was a woman...Kathie??), and whether Grace is onto something as an independent actor. Glasses girls are always mysterious, I know it's a trope! Why was Luca surprised to hear Alto say Michel's name? He did that before. Klan and Mikhail are just chidhood "friends", yeeeaaah xD I think Klan wants something more. That space slap though lol I wonder if Sheryl attends the classes with even a semblance of regularity xD Those little Vajras in the nest looked like the one that stole Sheryl's pants. I knew! They even showed them in consecutive cuts! |
