| Oh, they finally caught on to the possible aftereffects of changing things in time. Akari-san came up with a reasonable measure to not distort the events but, with the worst possible time (xD) on the other side, of course, things weren't going to be so clear-cut and linear. I'm curious who the parents of that pilot are though. It's got to be one of these characters, and you know what I'm thinking. Shisho remains the same 25 years later, that's to be expected, lol. Remaining 4 episodes should be interesting... Edit: How could I forget about that reference to Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo? That was pretty clean, imo. |

| A shorter episode today, but it felt just as fun as the first one. Well, I guess the time travellers haven't thought of the repercussions of time travel up until now. I wonder how the pilot is connected to the characters in the future. Some nice references too this episode, to HG Wells's "The Time Machine", to "The Truman Show", and to "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time". The references make the show even more fun to be honest. |
| Sounds like we're in a Back to the Future plot with that time traveler dude from 25 years in the future who is the 1st user of this machine (and I wonder who his parents are, could it be Akashi and the MC?) Now they need to avoid a time paradox otherwise it will destroy the universe but the other ones didn't come back in the machine :o |

| The more I listen to it, the more I'm loving this opening by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. Quite reminiscent of their song, Kouya Wo Aruke, from 'The Night is Short, Walk on Girl'. So Shabby-kun is also from the same university, just 25 years in the future. At first I thought he was an older more chubby Watashi, but after hearing him say that his mother and father were also students from the current time period. I'm thinking that there's a chance that he's Watashi and Akashi's kid. A bit of a long shot but he does have a similar hair style to Watashi and a similar mole under his left eye like Akashi. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. It probably wasn't the best idea letting Higuchi, Hanuki, and Ozu use the time machince first but at least they sent it back lol. Excited to see what happens next. |

| Loved the Tatami Galaxy reference. Runtime is very unfortunate, though. 18mins is too short. |

| the moment I saw that those 3 will time travel I started laughing, chaos will ensure in the next episodes for sure. I love the cinematography of this anime, the scene where the guys were talking on the stairs was great for I love the relationship among the characters, this really looks like the perfect sequel, I am so happy this exists |

| This episode felt like 5 minutes. The time travel related things are finally coming into the forefront and it's getting more interesting. Looks like we are going for an ending like the original where all the plot points finally merge at the last episode although I don't really know how to feel about it being so obvious this time, I guess that's the whole point (?) Anyway, there are moments of brilliant expressive directing sparsed throughout the episode but it kind of lacks the consistency of hitting you with innovative shot after shot of the original. I know I have been comparing it with the original too much, I should stop. |
