All of them were made the same day (today) and nearly at the same time, only have two entries in their lists (Steins;gate and HxH 2011) both added nearly simultaneously by all four accounts (an hour to two ago) giving the former a 10 and the later a 1. Additionally, their usernames nearly all seem to be made by a random keyboard smash (recurrent repetition of two or three letters). |
| To give you guys a small status update: I've already dealt with a good amount of the remaining old posts and also some of the new posts. There are still old and new posts I need to take care of, some of them might take a bit longer because I need to look deeper into it, others I'm not dealing with because they aren't obvious illegitimate accounts. I've also cleaned up the last few pages a bit. Please keep the following in mind before posting: This thread is for reporting illegitimate accounts only. Users can rate anime on their list however they want; what's not allowed is creating duplicate accounts to boost/drop ratings. Please always give an explanation why you're posting an account. The more detailed the better, especially if it's not super obvious. For forum spambots please use the report links in the post that the spambot made. A forum mod or myself will then deal with the account, there is no need to post it here. You can use this thread for all other spambots though (clubs, profiles, people pages, blogs, etc.). For forum/review troll accounts please use the report links as well. These accounts need to be dealt with as soon as possible and using the report links is just faster. Do not argue with posts made by other users, instigate arguments by PMing/commenting others or make off-topic posts. Please leave the decision making to the administrators. If you have any questions or concerns about this thread or its contents, please feel free to PM me. Thanks everyone for reporting accounts! |

| I was looking through the clubs using the search term "cinema" and found that there are 15 pages of fake clubs that seem to be nothing more than places for spam created by dummy accounts. | @Drunk_Samurai: As mentioned here, I'm still not completely done with the remaining old posts. As long as this is the case the only accounts in new posts I'm dealing with immediately are simple spambots or big batches of rating troll accounts that need to be dealt with immediately before the user creates even more. All other accounts go into my organization system first. I'm doing this because often accounts that belong to the same person are listed in several posts on different pages. And instead of dealing with 1-2 accounts I want to deal with all accounts of the same person at the same time. So currently I'm not working post by post but in batches based on my system. Once I'm done with everything old this will change and all new posts will be dealt with immediately. @MCsq2 (and other people posting alts that aren't rating troll accounts): If the alt was created for trolling/spamming the forum, reviews, comments etc. please use the report links in the posts, reviews etc. and a forum mod or review mod will deal with it. This is faster and more efficient than posting them here. It also prevents possible problems if the reported account wasn't someone's alt account but a legitimate main account (I've removed several flame wars in this thread because of this). @Junchi: Unfortunately it's possible to get around IP blocks if you know how to do it. --- I've deleted the posts with the forum spambots after deleting the accounts. Please report forum spambots by using the report links in the posts, it's not necessary to post them here. For more information what you can report in this thread and what should be reported in another way, please see my post here. |
