| This show's setting and episode set up is strange although it's established that there are giant beasts roaming the land. Main protagonist Kuumi seems like a curious girl with a strange ability. I do like the overall mysterious vibe of the show so far though. Feels liek anything can happen and Kuumi's ability seems far out of the ordinary. |

| Not bad. Pretty intriguing start. Definitely better than I expected. It was cute how Myaa had a cat on her head. Instantly my favorite character, meow. =^_^= |

| Good and interesting start. Mezami and the empire seem to be one of the bad guys in the series. In the end, the most evil of all is not those monsters but people. |

| Whatever this is, I really like it. Love the cat saleslady and both MCs. The animation style seems unique to me, and done well, and the writing moves at a pace which kept my attention through the first run. |
| The Legend of Ars, in the almost similar Attack on Titan-like fashion. Penguin Research's OP and Harumi's ED are good in spots. The lazing beast hunter Jiro who was once a valiant Paladin, and the girl in black Kuumi being chased by Mezami and the Empire as a prototype human experiment, the fate of the two intertwined but not known yet. The Ring of Promise sold through Myaa the salesgirl which Kuumi manages to put on her finger for a rumour passed through generations of the Saviour of Ars, and giant beasts roaming throughout to find gems as their source of food while people exterminate them one at a time. With suddenness, the Ring of Promise bears a bereavement cause as Jiro had anticipated, and the promise fulfilled between Kumi the 22nd Cleric and Jiro the Already Dead, things are shaping up. A unique premise worth time investing in. |

| My favorite start of the season. Nothing special, but actually well done in terms of quality. Let's hope that it will stay on the same level during the next episodes. |

| Ayee... that wasn't bad at all. Everything about this show is pretty good so far. The plot, the setting, the animation, and the soundtrack. Both the OP and ED are really good as well, especially the ED. I have many questions regarding this show but I hope they'll be answered in the upcoming episodes. Pretty good start if I say so myself. Kumi is cute and wholesome and Jiro is badass and Myaa is cute as well. |

They cancelled a song from before the 60s because it was too rapey and the dude was leaving saying its baby its cold outside, The current songs peaking at no.1 in charts are all about things I cant even say here cause someone would report me and I get banned. Embrace the story for what it is. And if you dont like it, dont watch, but out of every season 1 eps Ive seen so far, this is looking decent :) |

| Generic fantasy JRPG type of setting and characters, but I liked the music very much (the BGM, not the songs). I see that the same dud have done Youjo Senki too, my respects! |

| This show's animation is very good, and that first scene? Holy cow. The beasts are super cool and very colorful, I can't wait to see what happens next. Calling it now that this might be the sleeper hit and quite possibly the anime of the season. |

| I picked this up randomly but no regrets. Pretty good for a first episode although not many things make sense yet. The technology mismatch for example is kind of weird. Love the energy Kuumi has. (that's probably why Jiiro seems like a sloth in comparison but I guess they will balance each other out just fine) |
| This anime had the best start of the winter animes that I have seen so far (about 5-6 so far). I was not sure what to expect but I got intrigued with Kuumi who seems to be an experiment of some type (maybe an android or drugged up human?) Also Jiro seems to have some possible relationship with her or maybe it's that she reminds him of someone he knew, we'll see. I enjoyed the bits of action that we got and the giant beasts are mysterious and I'm curious to find out more about them such as where they came from, their purpose, etc. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Generic start ... with the usual "interesting" setting. But I expect the plot to get bad ... at least near the end. Guy in the castle/prison where the girl was imprisoned ... reminded of the guy from the Fena (Pirate Princess) anime ... where the plot was not really that good at the end. I'll give it another episode. But since I did not plan to watch it (just felt in the mood to try another first episode) ... I might drop early. Can pick it up if after the end the score is high and the review super good ... but I would not expect that. The girl ... also feels out of place. They just wanted to bring in another girl. I bet with all the paladin guys before (we only saw the male main) ... they always were male ä the cleric was female. :D Only interesting thing: That female (seemed like a knight ... maybe there are female paladins? :D) and that empire trying to attack. I guess the main fled and that city where he was ... was one of those "barbarians" the empire talked about. |
| The moment I saw the bright red horse I just knew this was going to be an interesting watch. To me the highlight of the episode were the giant monsters' design and I can't wait to see the main duo taking them down starting from the next episode. |

| Good art and animation, Kuumi remembers me about other character of a famous show, but I can't remember who. I liked the start but I think the giant beasts will be left aside for some human drama. |
