| I'm reading the manga as i read this article and . . . Well, this is one of those many cases where I can't seem to imagine myself in the head of somebody who would want to see a story like this. The mystery incest, or whatever it is, angle seems more appropriate as a punchline, probably not to a good joke, than an interesting narrative hook. Maybe they'll go for a potboiler thriller twist and have it turn out that he was his own sister the whole time. Something like Fight Club, but with incest instead of angry white males. I mean wtf man, i'm reading a hot little chick being objectified, humiliated, and (partially) emotionally tortured into nothing but sacks of meat for us to oggle at. Being a victim of overbearing male gaze must be not cool, man. But hey, the chastity belt looks hot, i might going to watch it solely for that thing. Oh, and the level headed but extremely busty onee-sama type girl doesn't look half bad either, until the mindnumbingly tiresome "childhood friend" came into play. And the latest chapter finished. Phew, finally my lovely lungs being liberated from polluted air. But. . . .you know, I'm pretty certain that I actually enjoyed what I just read. What I can't for the life of me decide is the manner in which I enjoyed it. Did I just enjoy mocking it? Well yes but was that all? Or did it transcend its own trashiness and become genuinely fun? I just don't know anymore. |

| Totally did not expect it. And announcing this before the anime even airs... While I can see LN like Haganai getting live action adaptation, but how many people know of this LN? Really doubt how it goes... though the actress for the main lead, Hashimoto Tenka, looks pretty decent and has already got some fame being a fashion model. Perhaps it will work out somehow. |
