| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- lol @ OnoD's character for a moment of doubt about Hime. Oh, wow, train! Akina trying his best, but too weak comparing to youkai. Hime's entrance... And OnoD's character is recovered on time. More of the monsters. Wow @ that old man in everything he did in this ep. Poor muffler, which Akina promised to fix/make a better one. Wow @ Hime's power! lol @ the preview (the OST is so silly) Character Song Best + OST (2 Disc) will be out on November 27, 2013. | This series is very enjoyable for me. Great characters (especially the girls) and antics that pop up during a serious battle. |

| Kotoha summoning and firing that German railway gun was so awesome it almost made me forget that Germany and Japan don't have the same track gauge. Almost. (Okay, she could have dropped it on a Shinkansen line, those are standard gauge) Hime's entrance accompanied by the "town song" - win. |
| Guess when the manga was written Tokyo Tree was not there, otherwise they would not be able to determine that Tokyo Tower must be the place where they projected the barrier. |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| Love the action packed episode! So intense, especially after Hime entered the battle. And that flashback of Akina being fixed (or whatever it's called) by Juri was from the OVA right...? Anyways, cute of Akina to say that after this, he will fix Hime's scarf, and also Hime who would sacrifice damage to her scarf rather than the town (or in this case, that guy's shop). Also there were a few funny scenes, like when Kyousuke hesitated when answering if Hime is a mayor to die for LOL all he could remember was her indulging in food. And then also when he pulled out an onigiri from his pocket. Magic. |
| The green light called earth vein looks suspiciously like the life stream from the final fantasy 7 game! But apart from that a very good action packed episode. |

Touka is also aiming for Akina as well, which should be pretty clear from the previous episodes and more so in a few more episode assuming they reainmate Hoshi no Umi with the holding hands side chapter. Anyways, ending was kinda weird with Hime's panty showing like that and all... well not that I too much. Gotta make gifs. |

| Great episode. Kotoha being able to create a train cannon was awesome. Lol at Hime jumping off the building and hurting herself. Hime got a massive power-up and was able to perform her final stance for the first time with perfection. |

Based on the opening theme and the fact that Sea of Stars is planted right in between Thorny Path and Song of Flowers, it is either going to take up 3 of the series episodes OR they will incorporate the OVA into the broadcast of the series, and 16 episodes seems about right for adapting the first 50 manga chapters to an extent, so I'm hoping they go with the latter route. That being said, Song of Flowers is 2 chapters shorter than Sea of Stars which was 3 episodes, so Song of Flowers will end up being only around 2-3 episodes at the end of this season. I hope they adapt the smaller arcs (6-1/2 and Walking Pilgrimage) and transition chapters as part of the series to balance things out or else it will just be back to back action arcs with little leeway. Plus I just remembered the characters from 6-1/2 are seen in the OP as well, so it is highly likely they will adapt it as well in the very least, so I'm really looking forward to this new version of the story. |
| I can't remember the last time I saw a single episode with this much great animation. I felt like I was watching something with a movie's production budget. Incredibly impressive and also a great episode aside from the eye candy. They really set the bar high for this week right from the start. |

| Woah, I think I found the most expensive episode animation budget-wise. That was so beautiful to look at, and seriously exciting too. The different lighting and glowing magic effects they do are really amazing - that dragon lance was just out of this world. This show is great. |
| They really set the location at the neighborhood of my Tokyo home. There was indeed a road that runs along the railroad (and I have walked along them so many times). The railroad on which the huge gun moved along was the very railroad I used to travel to central Tokyo. I even recognized the crossing where the police car made across the railroad !! Gosh!! That's so awesome !! |

| The music playing during the transitions from the break give such a slice of life feeling that it relaxes me. Every time the ED starts I just sing along, don't know why but it's so easy... Hime was quite the badass this episode, and looks like Akina will become a house-husband in the future. |

| 4/5 Wow! The main character is not the protagonist, the plot remains the post. Narratively a bit subdued as comedy, but at least the action saves. A little dissatisfied, I'm used to bad, maybe! XD Designed not so bad, but a little puzzled by the flashback of Kyousuke and his sister. Too short the brackets. |
