| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ----------------------------------------  I liked Nagi and Ruri's interactions this episode. That game contest was hilarious..when those two team up. Sort of felt like watching Jeopardy. Too bad they didn't win, oh well. Grats Ayumu and Hinagiku. Overall, an okay episode imo. I enjoyed watching Ruri this episode especially her more emotional feelings in that forest. Nice cliffhanger also, and I wonder what will happen next time. |

| The first half was kinda boring, but the quiz was hilarious. Thank god for Isumi, every time she gets serious Hayate tends to get awesome, whether its the manga or for this anime story. Mmmm...whats with this crow guy though, and why do I still have some hopes that Athena will do something eventually...I mean she is always involved in these kinds of arcs |

| Nagi's father is voiced by Sugita-san? And he stole the important thing, which is in the US. lol~ the idol girl is connected to this? Las Vegas show? lol @ little theater before and after CM. Nagi's sister has grudge on Isumi for some reason, even though there are more opponents. lol @ the questions, and Izumi won. It seems like there's some reveal of Nagi's "sister", which someone is ordering her. He got her for not get Nagi to the US, which it might be continued next ep. |

| Now we know the reason why Nagi went to Las Vegas, she want to save Ruri, but did Nagi said to Hayate something that he should stop be Nagi butler or something but in the first episode she said that Hayate is no more my butler. Haha, the first time that Nagi act all nice to Ruri now, the quiz contests were hilarous lol. That's more like Isumi protection or something, it's the first time she meet Ruri so she don't know the situation but it doesn't seem like that was enough to protect now Ruri got kidnapped. It does feel like this have plot wise as well. |

| Quiz was funny but the drama felt forced, can't judge the "plot" that seems to be coming together till its all shown but that said i would be lying if i said i was optimistic for it. |

| Well, this seems to be the darker version of HnG. With the story about the nymph and the human, it seems that an apple? would play a big part in the next few episodes. I mean, for the past few weeks, all I've been seeing is apples and more apples. What does this mean?! The ending was good, if you know what I mean. ;) YUKKYUUN! (LOL I sound like Keima from Kami Nomi). Damn the segments ended? Does that mean no more Izumi? D: NOOO! |

How about "one of the most powerful characters" then :-). My memory is probably worse than yours, but wasn't a large part of A___a's strength tied to her being in the secret garden and a possession factor, rather than just her native power. Given that Isumi almost defeated her even with that assistance, that would mean one on one, Isumi is stronger. But I guess one could argue that Isumi's grandmother is more powerful. Not that it really matters, my main point was that Isumi's powers are serious, and the supernatural aspect to the show isn't something new or ancillary, but a main part of the series. I think we can both agree to this, even if we quibble about relative strengths. Yup, I'll accept "one of the most powerful" :D I'm really not sure... |

| I think that with this episode clearly... And for another part, the episode was great but I wish they stop copying scenes that have already appeared in the manga, but this season is at last for now better than I expected, I hope that Hata continue surprising the fans with his work. |

| And when we can finally see the plot clearing up , we see a bird ... A FREAKIN BIRDMAN . LOLOL .with wings . dayum . Seems like Ruri doesnt even know why shes ordered to retrieve the Kurotsubaki . And it also seems like she's indebted to the Birdman in some way ? prolly was raised by him when she was all alone . And looking at the first ep , seems like Nagi was able to obtain the Kurotsubaki .But in return she lost Hayate , her butler . OR it was Hayate that was able to obtain the item . And seems like the end point of this anime is Ruka's concert in Las Vegas .Where things get deeper in a sense . A good episode .The puzzles are slowly coming into pieces . |

| The quiz sequence was just brilliant. This episode can be summed up in one name: ISUMI. Crouching Moron Hidden Badass at its best, that's what she is, and she's the ten out of ten in both of these roles. Frankly, I was stunned it was her who got the tricky question right. I guess the second part of the season will be more plot-oriented, just like the first one was pretty random. |

I'm not used to this and although it's not bad I just can't take it serious, I expected Hayate to use some of his super action mega butler skills but instead this is taking the serious route with a lot of plot. |

My fear of heights is as bad as Hinagiku, but I can ride a plane just fine. However, I can't stand the long hours of just sitting there and doing nothing. Glad to see Hinagiku & Isumi. They are both so beautiful! |
