Well, i like anime and i used to use mainly animenewsnetwork for information on anime and to keep track on the shows that i've seen but, my friend recommended this site, so here i am.
In a way, anime has inspired me to try to do more stuff in my life, although my high school life is already over, i've been participating more in sports (tennis and baseball) music (piano and drums) and studying a little harder. Anime is still good, but Sword Art Online and The World God Only Knows are the only ones where the main characters are gamers and Sanzenin Nagi from Hayate no Gotoku is probably the only otaku. In all these instances the characters are somewhat pitiable when on their own, playing games or watching anime. sometimes i wonder what i would think looking at myself from a third person perspective.
i still enjoy watching anime though and it takes me like... 40 minutes to commute to uni so i've got the time ;p
