Sorry if I didn't reply back, life got busy with me and this website is slowly getting the least visited site.

Yes, I remember that part where's the sibling parted near the end and there still the two people who you mention. I think the sibling still have a role in the next milestone until Ritona and Selp leave for their homeland. As for the doctor and the girl, I'm thinking the girl is part of a experment where she got some kind of power similar to magikca/mana (is it magicka? I can't remember what term they use for- nevermind, it mana). I think of a few reason for her being there, one that she is part of the royal family like one of the ruler daughter that didn't inherit the throne or a secret experment for one of the group, the one terrorist group that attack the kingdom (I can't remember all the small detail now :P )

Maybe the new vn explain the backstory of a few character like the doctor or Ritona's friend and go more in-depth on who these character are.
When is the new vn coming out? Any news on that?

From what I'm reading from the past convo, I do hope that Rhegan would not come to that, choosing between herself or her friend, it would be 'dem feel' moment which I'm not ready for when it come to that. I cared too much when it come to character that I like get kill or did something heroic to save his family or friend.

Maybe it's goes to the saying "Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it." which can help explain why path down is important to prevent the incident made by Rhegan during her reign or one of the ruler has discover something terrible.
I wonder if the path-down is only for family member, if so then I'm guessing Melano wanted to get rid of something that the royal family would know about as I say before.

I haven't read the demo yet, I might read it sometime this week. As for calling the other character, it can be for laugh like how Chaos Head did. In it, you the player get to choose one of three choice/delusion throughout the story which is the good/fantasy delusion, bad/scary delusion or just neutral which continue with the story as is and it doesn't impact the storyline. That would add some more color to each character personality. That would be cool actually.
To be honest, I haven't read much VN as much I used to, nowaday I work full day and soo much stuff can be pack into the limited hour I want to do but Fault series I'm definitely gonna read. The first and second vn had pull me in and I want to read more!

I wanted to believe it's not the ending of Two Above and it just the ending of those two siblings story but I was mistaken. After Selp return to herself, I wonder about the past 5th or 6th ruler(?), Rhegan was the third ruler if I remember correctly and I wonder how their personality would come into the story. One could be a kind king with a zealous personality or a greedy ruler with a patriotic persona.
One thing that concerns me about Rhegan personality is will she made the same decision that she made when she was a queen, where she might have to kill one of Selp's friend during a crisis to save herself and Selp body or do you think we might not see that at all in the next storyline? For me, I wonder how Selp will grow up to be, will her personality be influenced by the past ruler? It can be possible.

Either that or they doing some kind of experiment. I wouldn't think so, if they do, Ritona would never help the kingdom if they would doing an experiment on him and that wouldn't explain the story on how Ritona is loyal to the kingdom in milestone one and two.

Personally, Rhegan should have told them about the medicine after she kill him. Then the sister (I forgot their name) would've lived a little longer.

Wait a min, added gameplay? So it basically a game then. I bet the gameplay going to be a turn-based game unless I read your statement wrong. But as for the longer storyline, I agree, I hope that is the main reason for the story to be completed.

But if it a book or VN that you like, you get easily immersive into the story.
Same here for me, after I finish Sides two, I sat there, still waiting for the next chapter but no, they ended then and there. Now I want to read the next one.

I like these little trick they do, like how I read, Metal Gears solid one, where Pyho or that masked guy read your memory card and tell you what you been playing. But there some game that take it too far, there this one game (can't remember what it call and only remember a few parts based on comment on the game) where it a love story between a girl and a guy, let call her Girl A. You get the choice of choosing girl A or another girl but if you choose A, there some special event that can only fired if you choose her. After you go, save, shut it off and leave that game for a week, that girl tell you she miss you, that she said hope you ain't planning on leaving me and continue on with the game. But you do it for a year, the girl would be sadden but is happy that you came back for her.
Now that I find creepy!

For me, I wonder about Rhgen, in the story, I think Selp or Ritona mention she was the one who form Selphanie kingdom. That and she was the main focus for half of the game.
Ritona hate path-down? I think she don't want Selly to get hurt by using the empress syndrome and don't like Rhgen too from what I read last night. But that was some crazy episode I read, I was shock that Selly/Rhgen bash that guild leader head in and I could imagine what went though Selly mind at that time.

From that description on that websites, it seem Ritona hate both kingdom all because they didn't acknowledge her grandfather death. At first when I read it, it sound like Ritona took pride in her family honor and Reginzenhaide didn't cared about her family one bit, used them as politics tool instead. We came to the same conclusion then : D

I read the website about Ritona story and I came to the same conclusion as you but got another reason added to that. When I first read it, Ritona took pride in her family honor, that they have served the kingdom for generations but they won't acknowledge her grandfather death or anything related to him, instead they used her family as a politics tool to help better relation with another kingdom and Ritona don't like being used as a tool, want to be treated as human. That what I'm thinking based on what I read.

I do too, I'm glad it not those type of games too. I often read a amazing vn with a good story but then they add that scene into it and I just want to keep reading the story. So I'm glad they didn't but also made the game too short!! 😩
Also, I like Ritona, she got some characteristic that I liked.

Okie dokie, I just thought that you're still reading the VN but I don't have to worry anymore about spoiler unless someone is watching our conversation. I haven't finished Side two:above yet, I'm only at the part where Ritona and Selphine had finally got into the inner pole(?) and got their room in a underwater city after arriving from the outer pole. After that, I have to go to bed for school the next day and haven't got back into it yet. I already know why Selphine went crazy when I first startled the VN and man, that intro is sure something. I didn't expect it to shut down the VN, I sat there, wondering why it shut down and I was about to start it up again but it started itself up. Talk about 4th wall breakdown lol
Did she now? I never knew that but we have to find out when the presequel come out. There got to be a reason for her grudge against Rughzenhaide, otherwise what the point of making a story about Ritona. I'm thinking it's her parent that got killed during the early years of Rughzenhaide building.

Cool, I get that on my wishlist but right now, money is tight for me with bills which I have to pay. Such as adult life haha

Hey, sorry. School is back in session so I didn't have time to go on MAL
Now I got to keep an eye on that VN now but life demand my attention! From what I could tell from finishing the first one and reading the second one, it definitely focus on Selphine, and after reading a certain part of Milestone 2 (I don't want to spoil the story if you haven't completed the story), I'm kinda curious on what happened to Ritona before she been appointed Selphine royal guardian. I remember a few reference were made about her being rebellious with the Selphine's family. Either that or I saw the trailer and somehow my mind made a connection between the trailer and milestone.

I'm more interested in on the past ruler like the second ruler, where in the beginning of milestone 2 mention about a female ruler had formed the kingdom. Didn't milestone 2 explain about her crazy personality? It was the empress symptom that was refer to her crazy outburst.

I knew about the third VN, where Ritona resent the kingdom or what I believe is to be from watching the trailer. I'll be watching out for that on steam. What do you think would be in this VN?

At first, when Selphine went into this crazy 180 degree around personality change, I thought it was because it was mention her father died but that couldn't be true since the killer say three days or something like that so I was confused at first.

I got it going after I got internet a couple of days later, immediately redownload all the missing files and got into it. But now, I been putting it off now, I should read it tonight

I'm just started reading the second VN right after I finished the first one. Man, the ending in the Milestone one got me. But poor me because I brought the second one cause of sales but for some reason, it was missing a file so I couldn't play til I have internet to redownload the file
