| So Dragon Ball Kai ended today... overall I'd say it was a pretty messy adaption. It really should have been a remake using the animation from the OP. Also as a true "Toriyama cut", it should have had all of the canon DBZ sagas. But oh well, I guess it just wasn't making enough money to keep around. |

Ratings don't matter... merchandise sales do. Like with most tv programs, you actually pay to get it aired. Its essentially a commercial companies use for the merchandise, like dvds, posters, figurines, etc. The merchandise has dried up for Dragon Ball, so there was no reason to keep it going. |

| They really ended it quite well although it would have been better if it had continued on to the Buu Saga. Maybe I should start watching DBZ from the start of the Buu Saga. :P |

| Well, there were no surprises but it was nice to see this series again and reminisce about the good old days^^. As now I think about it it was even better, without fillterów, they always irritate me. It is a pity that there is no Buu saga. |

But his judgement never lets me down: now I'm looking forward to the manga every week and I've been waiting for the anime forever. Dragon Ball Kai - awesome. Fun to watch without all the fillers. Too bad they're not gonna redo Majin Buu but thus is life. 10/10 =D |

| DB Kai was like a dream coming true for me. im thankful that they made this remake a DBZ like the manga no god damn filler no exaggeration of the episodes but the end of trunks killing androids and cell in his time missing and most of all no buu saga the dream half shattered. but i'll take it like goku: "Oh well" |
| We need a special Dragon Ball ep where Goku and Vegeta get a full planet for themselves to fight it out Cell's fights weren't as good as Freeza's because Goku and co. had to focus on keeping their attacks from destroying Earth. |
| Despite knowing the ending, touch me. OST fantastic, especially when Goku says that he doesn't want to be resuscitated. And it was good to see moments of the Classic in this episode. I hope one day, they do the buu saga. For Toriko, the anime did not interest me much. I'll just see if it has good feedback and when he has more episodes. |

| Am I the only one that found the scene where Chi-Chi is crying while "Dragon Soul" plays in the background unintentionally hilarious? | I finally finished a complete series of dragon ball! this would be the only dragon ball anime series i've watched so i cannot complain.. from the above posters.. i'm thankful that i watched this series where no fillers were shown :-D i really enjoyed DBK and finally understand all the hype of this fantastic anime! |

| Gohan +1 in beast. Would be nice if they did the Buu saga. But I don't think I can stand watching Gohan go from beast to failboat Sayaman, to beast again, to shit food. |

| This actually ended at the right time, as Akira Yoriyama wanted to end his story directly after the Cell saga, leaving Gohan as Goku's replacement and the planet at peace from any threats connected to the gang. The Gohan at highschool, Tornement and Buu saga was a result of; masses of fans, high anime and manga sales and both companies wanting to continue raking in the cash. I'm glad Akira's true story has been told, as much as I loved Goten and Trunks as kids, we still have the Z serise if we get nostalgic. *The Toriko/One Piece crossover is a little odd; shameless promotion of a new serise, yet I'll watch* |

| It was explained that Trunk's timeline is different. Kinda like an alternative universe. So, it doesn't matter if they defeat the androids in their timeline, it won't affect Trunk's future. Anyway, I really liked to see Dragon Ball again without fillers. |
