About reinwald
I'm a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a graduate student taking Master of Science in Dentistry Major in Orthodontics; anime keeps me sane. LOL

Also, if your wondering about my profile and avatar picture.. "arden" is my 2nd name and "tel" is named after my girlfriend Kristel :) this was a doodle we made on YM messenger during our college days and holds sentimental value for us.

I introduced her to anime after we graduated and thus she got hooked on it also :)

*Updated*

28/4/11 Just graduated from my Masters.. ahhh now for the more important things.. anime.. LOL XD

I see you're getting into Gintama. It does take some episodes to get used to, but it does get hilarious.

Well you just have to watch it for what it is, It's a very refreshing series, and the cast is simply amazing. Anyway it can't please everyone, it's very episodic and told in a manner that many people aren't used to.

Even though, I still think it's on a different level than most long-running series or shounens. What it may look like"fillers" in this series (which is most of it) are actually fantastically executed episodes with stories of their own.

I noticed you are watching Cowboy Bebop! Are you enjoying it? I'm re-watching it, it's been a long time and I felt like going through it again!

Hi, I saw that you've watched FMA:B 4-Koma theatre already, was wondering if any of the episodes has Olivier Armstrong in there? ^^ If yes, what is it abt? Would appreciate it. ^^
U may PM me if you dun want to spoil it here :D Thanks! ^^"

holy christ, your at 'That" arc already?? damn. Well enjoy the ride, watch the next episode and get ready to be blown away.

I think the next episode will probably be the one that gets you hooked on this arc.

Yeah Blackbeard was so freaking interesting from the very first moment he appears. Drum Island was the most emotional arc for me, Water 7 was the most thrilling and Skypiea was indeed the most unique. I loved the concept and designs of the Shandian Warriors! And that last showdown while defeating Enel and ringing the Bell at the same time with the golden riffle still remains to this day one of my most memorable OP episodes!

Yeah I know, I remember when I caught up (also took a a while) I no longer had one piece to marathon 5 or 6 episodes through. Now I have to wait for it to pile up. Enjoy while you're at it! So what was your favorite part so far?

Dude you're speeding through One Piece like Crazeee

ArtemisX | 12-14-10, 11:58 AM
Yeah there are a few times when the series starts to have some what of a slow pacing, like right where your at, after the first filler arc, at the end of the skypia saga. The first few arcs during the CP9 saga are a bit slow but there still refreshing with new interesting idea's. But lots of filler coming your way, of course you can always choose to skip it, but thats up to you.

I personally watch the filler, in fact some of the filler is so good it has some of the greatest "comedy" moments in OP and also some great character devolopment that is not present in the manga storyline.

ArtemisX | 12-14-10, 12:40 AM
You are going to go absolutely insane when you see the current and last arc of OP for this anime series. It has so many huge plot twists and startling revelations, it will just leave you with so many "WTF" jaw dropping moments.

The Marineford arc is probably by far the biggest turn of events in One Piece history. It makes every thing before it seem like merely a prologue for whats to come.

Although some people are complaining thats its a bit slower then the manga, i guess, but i rather it be nice and long so they show you plenty of action and lots of awesome events, cause if it was just like 10 episodes, i would be pissed. You will understand when you get there. Its like the anticipated "war of the ages".
