| Ummm.... The reason Kyuube's concept is 'alien' is solely due to Urobuchi being Cthulhu Mythos. There is nothing exceptionally bad or weak about it, since it is also expected way from Urobuchi. |

| So Kyubey acknowledged the fact that Incubators are indeed emotionless. Good to finally here their intentions. Kyubey you monster, after Mami now Sayaka and Kyoko as well? This show is really giving me shivers. Can't wait for the next episode. Maybe in the end Madoka will still become a Mahou Shoujo by wishing for everyone to return to normal. That's what I think. If so, Homura would've failed... |

| Kyube's explanation about entropy actually makes sense. The laws of physics tell us that energy cannot be created or destroyed (it probably has a real name I just don't know it in english). It can however change forms, like from muscle energy to kinetic energy when you slide a coin on the table, and from kinetic energy to heat from the friction between the coin and the table. The universe is very slowly moving towards a point where all energy is equally distributed among it, and this is what entropy means. because the average temperature of the universe is in the minus hundreds centigrade, it is a very real end of the world scenario, and actually pretty much the only one we know will happen for certain. It's wonderful how this series is a total mindfuck but still makes sense when all the pieces come together. Or actually it doesn't. If kyube's race is as advanced as is implied, they'd surely know how to convert matter to energy. Oh well. |
| Okay, I just saw something, and I can't understand it. When Kyoko used her soul gem to "heat up" Sayaka's body, nothing happened. But earlier in the episode, when Homura shows her Soul Gem, Sayaka's body actually glows! I am absolutely baffled at this. Can't even think of a suitable theory. |

| Can't believe they just killed of Kyoko and Sayaka like that. I'm pretty sure Madoka will bring them back in the end but there's no telling what will happen anymore. I don't really hate Kyubey as much as other people do, though. He doesn't have any bad intentions. He's just incapable of empathy and thinks everything is for the greater good and all that. |

| It was amusing discussing this episode with friends and figuring out the laws of thermodynamics and laws of energy not being able destroyed etc. Strange what this anime can do to you in terms of discussion. As for the episode, I don't think anyone who has been following this closely would be really shocked by Kyouko's death. Although unlike Mami, she went down on her own terms which was cool in a fiery destructive way. It makes me think if Grief Seeds can be destroyed in the same way that the Soul Gem can be destroyed (that is without it being destroyed by taint). If this is possible, the Puella Magi system can be destroyed if Madoka or any other capable Puella Magi by destroying all Gems and Seeds and killing herself by shattering their own Soul Gem before they turn into a Witch. If Grief Seeds can't be destroyed, then Kyouko's efforts would be in vain as they can easily attract more negative emotions and the Sayaka Witch can be reborn. | so how come some are disappointed for finding out Kyubey is a sentient lifeform not from Earth. It clearly breaks all needed questions, everything. I mean in every show you always this source of power, a supernatural being not supposed to be found on our Planet but Madoka has broken that, just like at what happened with Evangelion, the source of something not supposed to be on our planet is really something that's not. Now, you won't need questions like, "Why does he have that ability? Where did it come from? or Where DID HE come from? his origin? those questions are deemed meaningless bec. Kyubey really is not of this world and it feels like the world of Madoka Magica is just a normal "Earth" where in Kyubey has stepped upon. anyways very nice episode, the last part where Kyouko sacrificed herself is the highlight for me, i can't stop feeling sad, the swirl of emotions, sadness, anger and anxiety, i'm also feeling it. This anime will just be too hard to defeat and i can see Gen, Shinbo and Kajiura doing another project like this, that's what i'm betting. |

| I can say QB is a form of Mushi known as swiss-cheese-without-holes!! They're neither good nor bad. It's in their existence. About the entropy thing, yeah it made sense. Sayaka and Kyoko are now gone. So I think things are going to be much more epic starting thereon. |

| I'm quite interested what would happen if Madoka (or someone else) made a contract and said "I wish the universe's energy stopped falling" or at least "I wish Kyubey's society started understanding and respecting human emotions". Maybe that would be the ultimate solution? |

| Right now I can't stop crying. I had a feeling that Kyouko is going to die but I hoped that she would stay longer. ;_; She was soo awesome!!!! ;_; It was heartbreaking to see Kyouko's sacrifice. ;_; Sorry, I need to watch something happier to get this episode off my mind for a bit. |

What it teaches us is that you should wish for something without being prepared for it's consequences. That does NOT mean you shouldn't wish. It just means you should weight it carefully, and be ready to face the consequences. And live through them. And that's the only thing that's bugging me so far. The fact that none of the characters seem to be able to do it. They made their wish, and their lives turned to hell in return. That is normal. I am just annoyed that none of them was able to handle it. I mean, they just keep failing at everything they attempt. Madoka keeps failing to help everyone around her QB keeps failing to turn her Homura keeps failing at getting Madoka out of magic stuff for good Mami failed to keep her life Sayaka failed to keep her soul And even Kyoko, which was immune to this so far, failed to save Sayaka. Sure, they are young girls. And QB is tricking them, even though he doesn't acknowledge it. But still, I would be glad to see at least one of them being able to cope with the backlash. The girls threw a rock at a ocean. In return, they got a tsunami. All of them were crushed. I hope that at least Madoka will be able to surf it. And that is the last time you will hear me say anything bad about Madoka. |

| About the entropy thingie, I think we should also consider that he could also lied. And for those who question why QB's race tried hard to make some mahou shoujo rather than finding some solution with another theory (such as converting matter into energy), maybe it's just a kind of experiments. There's no cheaper way to save the universe by just granting some "small" (compared to universe) wish and letting a little amount of 6-billion species sacrificed as the cost. It's not different with people who sacrifices some cute lil animals for the sake of sciences and greater good. |
| So to sum it up, Kuubei is an alien and Kyouko and Sayaka are dead. Damn, I just started liking Kyouko too. I hope at least one of them comes back to life or from beyond the grave here. |

| So Urobuchi mixed in his 'sentient life form' from Saya no Uta and Kiritsugu(of FSN)'s 'to save a majority, a minority has to be sacrificed' concept. I'm just speechless. Practically gritting my teeth at the awesomeness here. Now it's just Homura left and the promised day of the Walpurgis(?) comes. Will Madoka become energy for the universea Mahou Shoujo? I can't wait. On a small note, I like their classroom, especially their desks. Plus every one of them has a laptop. I want to study there :3 |

| This Anime season is not as good as the previous seasons but this Anime is a absolute masterpiece. The story is simply brilliant and very interesting to watch and it takes a completely different approach then what you normally see in Mahou Shoujo's. It's also the first time where the main character doesn't become a Mahou Shoujo and is in doubt of becoming one. The one responsible for giving girls magical powers is pretty evil emotionless and there is no telling whether he is stating the truth or not. Kyubey also keeps allot to himself about Mahou Shoujo and is a good example that you should not make a contract before you know everything about it. I like the fact that it also isn't just cute little girls running around in cute outfits like what you usually see in Mahou Shoujo's and it's very violent compared to what we normally see as well in this genre. All in all i am having a great time watching. About the episode. I somehow figured that Kyouko would die i didn't expect her to sacrifice herself and take Sayaka with her. It was also shown how far Kyubey is going to make sure Madoka becomes a Mahou Shoujo. Tho as mentioned before i doubt that he was telling her the truth about trying to save the universe his story seems a pretty far fetch. And his previous actions also seems to suggest otherwise plus there was that thing Homura said in the previous episode. I can't wait till next week to see what's going to happen it's really going to be interesting. |
| Pretty intense episode! I like how this series doesn't hesitate to kill off the characters. Albeit a little too much. All the leads are dropping like flies. D: Evil Kyubey is evil as usual. |
