My ultimate two favourites are those I quoted, but the rest are also things that I really love and that really touched me and still touch me. I suppose that it's easy to define my character just by looking at my favourite scenes. =p On any case, I hope they touched the other viewers/readers as much as they touched me. ^^ |

I just wanted to reminisce over the great scenes that I knew of and maybe to see what to look forward to in anime/manga that I haven't seen/read yet.exceptional scenes in them. | by far. this scene. music, animation, adorable factor... it's just all there. It makes me "dokidoki" each time. (for lack of better words...) Howl's moving castle also, this scene. if not simply because i love their little love triangle, and i love the song. another "dokidoki" moment. Honey & Clover oh and of course FLCL. wow, really, all my favorite scenes have really prominent music in them hahah. |

| Oh wow, I'm sure there are a boatload of them, but the only one I can think of right now is the scene in cowboy bebop, in the episode ballad of fallen angels, specifically when the song green bird comes on and spike is falling out the window and the viewer is allowed to take a trip down his memory lane. It was made all too generic with the changes, the dialogue is almost painful and the male protagonist is the most annoying thing since the Crazy Frog. I only posted the clip to show that more recent series can still be rather brutal, but unfortunately the violence is the only thing it has going for it. |

| Well, I have to agree with Paprika's opening. It's the best opening I've ever seen! And I think it is a scene, but it's more of a side story than integral to the movie's plot. It did make Paprika (the character, and by her I don't also mean Chiba Atsuko) very appealing, though. ;p |

| Hey. We're doing this? Ok :) I guess i could find loads from all my favourite shows, but i'll just pick the very top. Code Geass episode 23 of the first season. Last ep of Haruhi (fucked up order) Shakugan no Shana. First season. Last ep. And while i'm on that, one too from Shakugan no Shana II. I think ep 23. Or 24. Now that i think about it there was also that scene in ep 3 of Angel Beats. If you've seen it you should know. But that might be getting into 'not the very top'-territory. That show actually had a bunch of good scenes. Too bad it was hard to care about the plot. |

| Sounds like a neat discussion; I think I'll join in! The Vision of EscaFlowne: Van's Insanity This was probably the first scene where the audience saw Dilandau genuinely frightened, and it was awesome. Everything was just so high-energy and the representation of Van's mentality at that point was just shocking. Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN: Eureka's Monologue This scene really defined Eureka in terms of her character I thought; and I loved the metaphor of the book with blank pages in relation to her life. 'Lovely scene. Wolf's Rain: Darcia's Sorrow This is pretty much what made me love Darcia: up until this point, his character gave off a very different vibe. Something that was so calm and collected changed to this in an instant. Xam'd: Lost Memories: Furuichi's Decision Technically I pretty much loved any scene with Furuichi, but this was the most surprising and unexpected scene in Xam'd for me. Its what made it start to really stand out to me, and also really made me consider Furuichi's character: why would he choose to do this? And why was he so calm about it? An unexpected, tragic yet amazing scene. |
