Have you been viewein anime with a "critic's eye" so to say? Some of my friends have gotten tired of anime cuz they were trying to critique everything they watched. This anime lack this, or this anime needs this to be better, if you find yourself doing this, try to sit back and throw those thoughts away. Why do you think people enjoyed most of the things they say when they were younger? Its because we were oblivious and cared less for detail, art, bad music, etc.

If nothing works out, take a break and maybe a new anime will come out and it will captivate you or try to play a video game of your favourite anime, this is what i do when i get bored of anime.

Hope this helped you out.

Once you stop liking anime, then it won't really matter, will it? The day you stop liking anime means that you won't really care for it anymore, so why are you worrying about it now? Enjoy it now, and don't think about when you won't like it anymore. I don't know if you're afraid of losing the memories and joys of watching anime, so is that it? Maybe it's like cocaine in the way that the first time it's glorious, but after a while it starts to lose appeal. Stop watching too much, and watch it in moderation?

After seeing your profile/favorites and list you're just watching complete shit. You enjoy shit, that's all it is.. stop doing that to yourself.

You're limiting your anime watching to like 2011+ series and it's not even anything "good" that you've seen besides maybe a handful of shows.

My list is wildly inaccurate. It's missing like 80 entries.

I agree. That's why I stop watching anime sometimes whether it's for a few months or even a year and come back. So I can take a break from it, and wait for more to come out, hoping they'll be good or something.

Do another thing like sports or something.
I usually play videogames two months and I don't watch anime and other times is on the contrary. Sometimes the only thing I do is read books, these kind of things.

For most people it's inevitable, you have that initial phase where you watch a burst of anime and as time wears on you find other interests/activities that take your time, so anime becomes more of a past time as opposed to a "hobby". Nothing wrong with that, just means you're probably bored with the average recycled anime anyway. I don't think you'll stop liking anime, you'll just have other things to like as well so the impact of its absence won't be as severe as you would think.

I stopped watching anime for six years except for Miyazaki films. I will love them whether or not I love anime at the moment.

I'm not as obsessed now as I was then, but taking a break gave me time to come back and appreciate my old favorites again. It's like watching my favorite series for the first time again.

But, inevitably, you'll grow out of anime. At least out of obsession with it. I only watch the best of the best nowadays.

I kind of feel the same way although I'm sure I won't be able to watch as much anime. I wont stop but probably I will only watch a few ( based on popularity) which is not something to be proud of but I think you should just enjoy it and watch as many anime as you can right now.

i think the only reason you would stop liking anime is because you found something more interesting to do.

maybe you just don't find something that good enough for you to watch these day that's make you felt that way, or that you just already watch all the best stuff and you think the rest of it is a crap that makes you felt like anime doesn't felt the same.

I am a very impatient person when it comes to anything really, even anime. So I usually stick with short series (11-13 eps). A series needs to keep my attention 24/7 for me to continue watching it basically. I always struggle to start a new series, I'm never in the mood. I have to always rewatch a series I've favored to get back into it. Maybe it's the storylines that aren't original anymore so you expect something different in a new series, when you can't find that you stop watching anime until next season to hopefully find an original series. I suppose now, normal is boring. But also, original storylines can be boring too, how slow each episode progresses. I haven't watched a single episode of anything in almost 3 weeks, I would love to watch more anime, I just need to know how to keep my interest up to finish/start a series ha

Animu gets old pretty quickly-

Read some good manga, then, some day, you'll say "I want to watch some stupid anime" and you'll enjoy it

If you want originality then maybe anime is not for you.

Anime are based in cliche and basic plot, using the same foundations over and over again.

Watching a variety of shows and experimentation with genres you haven't explored yet. That seems to have worked for me.

Personally, I've been watching anime for almost two decades and while I sometimes tire of individual shows I've never burned out on the medium.
