I'm actually interested in (if you feel obliged to respond) what you mean by MAL's fansub suggestions being crap and its demise being inconsequential.

Most of the votes amassing on this website always meant you could single out what seemed to be the best. Now that it's gone, I went to go see AniDB and either I'm not using it right or its absurdly ambiguous with its complete lack of votes for most entries.

At the moment I am just being fed by a friend if for a limited range of anime, but there's no doubt I am feeling the loss of MAL's feature as older anime is concerned.

I really havent watched many sports anime. The one I loved the best from that genre was called Suzuka. I will see whats Cross Game about then.
