| The official site for Shingeki no Kyojin announced that two animated movies will be released. The first movie is titled Shingeki no Kyojin: Zenpen Guren no Yumiya and will premiere winter 2014, while the second movie, titled Shingeki no Kyojin: Kouhen Jiyuu no Tsubasa, will premiere sometime in 2015. The two movies will use footage from the TV anime series while providing new dubbing and remastered sound. The first movie will recap episodes 1-13, while the second movie will recap episodes 14-25. The main cast, director, composer, and studio from the TV anime series will all remain the same. | Great, I'm not an overrated fanboy but really liked the series. First half of it was "not backed" enough and even the staff said so at their twitter account, also searched for new animators that time, so making recap movies with bigger budget, more time to work on, will probably make me satisfied. Looking forward to that and also I won't be surprised at the end of the second movie to show announcement for second season, there should be enough materiel for 2-cour show by then. |

| It's just good they don't hurry with the 2nd season. If they hurry with this now then we'll end up waiting for the 3rd season way more longer than the second. Also it will be nice to re-watch SnK anyway^^ |
