Novel Author of Kaze no Stigma Passes Away

According to Fujimishobo, Yamato Takahiro, the author of Kaze no Stigma, passed away on July 20th. He had been suffering from Leukemia. Kaze no Stigma novel ended incomplete.

Updated on December 28th
The final volume of Kaze no Stigma novel will be released in March 2010. Fujimishobo collected the remaining manuscripts of the side stories and will release it as "Kaze no Stigma Ignition vol.6".

Whether or not you knew the series when an author passes away, its always sad. I actually enjoyed the Kaze no Stigma series >.<

Awwww. That's sad. I am soon going to watch the Kaze no Stigma series. It would kind of be depressing that the series would probably never be finished... just like the Guin Saga series. All we can do is hope that the author had left notes and someone would pick it up.

Honestly, authors should think about finishing things instead of keeping them undefinetely, though I don't know if this is the case here. In the case the worst happens it's sad that they ended up leaving something incomplete.

Also someone should make an anime about how manga and anime creators that were on the middle of their job pass away and then come back to haunt their unfinished work.

not just authors but people in general, for example just last month my cousin died, anyway i havent read the manga, it must be good, ill try it?
