First review? Yeah man :D

Anyway, before I begin, if you're considering giving this series a watch, I sugguest to watch it in Japanese with english subs, believe me, much better than the english dub and you can watch the other four series after in the same format (Stream may be a little more difficult, no one ever really subbed it and Beast+ is still in the works) To begin with, I'm guessing you already have an idea of what the series is about, well, this one anyway. Netto, or Lan as he's renamed in the english dub is a unorganized, over-sleeping, curry eating net-battling kid who basically, has this device called a PET (a little ironic in a way) in which dwells a small, computerized robotic man called Rockman (Megman in english). Together, they net-battle viruses and make sure they don't affect the human world since everything is linked together in the year 200X. His continous Net battling with WWW (World 3) get him into all sorts of problems and trouble which Rockman has to help him out with. Netto has various other friends who help him overcome the problems WWW put up aginst him with his own evil net battlers. This series is split up into two series, each which devise two plots that are both fun and very enjoyable to watch. The characers all have unique and sometimes daunting personalities which make up the series, there is also a fair bit of progression within some of the characeters, some friends become enermies some enermies become friends basically.

The are no fillers within the series, it does not follow the Manga or the Game, not exactly anyway. And after watching all of the episodes, I know I wanted to watch the next series and believe me, it gets better. There are constant new twists and turns within the series and it pretty much had me on the edge of my seat. It's a good watch and certainly not a waste of time, you get through the episodes so quick it's unbelievable. It's not all about net battling too, there's other things like school, friends and traveling places that occupy most of the series, the battles are quite short anyway so it's not annoying really. Most of the episodes have their own side plots, the main plot isn't apparent until much later in the episodes.

So yeah, this is basically what I believe, if you're a fan of the original Megaman and it's franchise, then I will sugguest watching this! I'm a huge fan of the original Megaman games and I was quite pleased to see some of the characters come through in this series, as well as some of the conventions the original games had. (:

So yeah, just give it a watch, this is one of my favourite series now and I'm quite happy to have watched it. I'm currently watching Beast+ and I'm eagerly awaiting new subs :D read more
