it does distort the feel, and i noticed i don't get as emotionally invested because speeding up the bgm kinda diminishes the impact. but dialogue seems to feel more natural at ~1.3x speed for most anime. and it lets me watch stuff that would otherwise be unwatchable. the only problem is that i can't watch a lot of things at normal speed now lol
yeah, the beginning was more about him acting out to get attention. kinda like a certain girl with a bubbly personality
html5 allows adjustable playback speed. just requires a little add-on/extension. that's how i managed those 431 eps btw. 2-3x speed lol
yeah visiting fam and friends. plenty of youtubers getting coverage of computex so it's fine. def an entire year's worth of heat
naruto's just a story about a kid who wants friends. and he's pretty self-aware. in p much every arc, he finds some other kid who's had trouble making friends and he forces them to bond over it

i actually just got back from phoenix today so i'm ready to hibernate till fall
nico's alright. she's basically naruto though, i think they'd get along. the 4/10 rating doesn't match my other ratings so i'm gonna to rethink my criteria. maybe rewatch/reread everything..
the show's been p disappointing so far. nice character designs, but characters are cliched and the MC's dull personality still manages to be inconsistent. progression feels forced, and even then there's not much in the way of plot and i can't see it picking up. premature 4/10
