Yeah, I felt like none of the reviews up to that point were doing it justice because on one side you had the people giving it too much undeserved praise and on the other side you had people making it out to be the worst thing ever so I wanted to take kind of like a middle ground approach to things :) Anyhow I'm really glad you like it.

Well there actually is a dub for the movie, haven't watched it dough.

Well I did enjoy the second season and the movie , they had a deep meaning to them, hell I love the K-on series as a whole, the first season was more of a taste to something thats much better, the second season and the movie is like the full plate.

Well the thing is a Slice of life is well, a slice of life. But this usually has a realistic a story, for example, Nisekoi, Au Haru Ride, Ookami, Sora no Method etc. each of these has a story, but in K-on all it really is is a bunch of girls who have tea and have fun.
