I rate on a scale of enjoyment alone.

10 = Pure enjoyment, almost every second. Also deserving of praise in its writing, characters, soundtrack, animation, and directing. A masterpiece on many levels.
9 = An amazing show that deserves recognition, but maybe lacks one or two things that would edge it to a 10/10.
8 = A great show that, in retrospect, I can say I really enjoyed. Bogged down by maybe a few issues, but not bad at all.
7 = Good, but there are problems with it that may hold down its potential.
6 = Very okay, these shows I neither hate nor like.
5 = EXTREMELY Average. I have a hard time trying to tell what I enjoyed about a show rated this low.
4 = Bad.
3 = Very bad.
2 = HORRIBLE.
1 = Absolute disgrace. I have yet to see an anime that offends me this much.

I don't score OVA or specials that continue adding on an extra episode or so to a series I completed. Look at the original show's score, that is what it'd be paired with.
I also don't rate recap movies since they're the same thing as the actual show, and if you're looking for my scores on those, also look to the original show on my list.

[CURRENT ON INDEFINITE HIATUS, at least as far as watching goes. May read some manga soon, but I don't have motivation to watch anything until the Spring season is done and I can binge everything that I'm interested in all at once. Fall season wore me out. May binge 3-gatsu no Lion once its all done though.]
