I actually enjoyed it, 3-gatsu no lion is chill and slow-paced. I'll admit that there were some episodes where I wasn't super engaged by what was going on, other episodes on the other hand were beautiful that just made you feel really good to watch, but I pushed through just to keep up with what was going on with the characters.

I really love the protagonist, his an interesting and fantastic character. Somehow, I could actually relate to some of his struggles, and seeing him evolve significantly over the course of the show is so fascinating to watch and analyze. It's slow, heavy, and sad, yet it's also uplifting and human. I loved it so far!!!

Aria of Sorrow is a Metroidvenia game, or rather Igalovenia because of the man that popularized the genre. But yeah the Castlevania anime is worth checking out too.

Hmmm, I honestly don't know. I've been divided with my thoughts on Gintama, i ended up dropping it 3 times but always coming back to it. Recently I loved when Sogo and Hijikata got captured in a saw inspired 2 parter. The haircut episode had me dead throughout, especially the Shogun part. I'm currently at like ep 160+ but i haven't continued in a while. You got any favorite moment from the first season?

Oh, don’t worry, I’ve seen WAY worse than that lmao. Anyhow, let’s begin.

Unfortunately and in my experience that doesn’t often go two ways ^^’ A few years ago a girl wanted to castrate me because while stalking my comments she noticed I was replying to other people instead of her, and I wanted to say at the time: “. . . I wonder why C__C” lmfao.

It really does sound nice and I hope that can be the case. But for now I’ll just weigh my options out and see how life treats me. Wanna know my biggest problem? I’m a logician - and it’s a good but dangerous skill to have because it causes me to overthink everything even if it’s the smallest thing, even so much so that I almost can’t enjoy simple things anymore. I can dump thousands of hours into a strategy game, but, even though I love it - can’t enjoy Kirby and the Forgotten Land because it’s so simple ;-; But he’s so cute though haha.

I try to look on the bright side, I my friend, I really and truly do and continue to try and give new anime a chance - but the fact is, uh, it’s not my demographic anymore and on some level I think I have to come to terms and grips for it. It’s hard finding anyone in the community to have a strong conversation with anything in the medium with, because wtf can I talk about in My Hero Academia or, uh, Spy. . . family? It’s the eventual cause of any medium inherently tied with capital, i’m trying to find the brighter sides, but, as defeatist as this is to say - it’s almost like the brightness is all in the past, what is there to look for ahead? o-o

Granted, I don’t want everything in the medium or any medium to be absolutely perfect, that’s just insane and removes the process of dichotomy itself, if everything is perfect than perfection is worthless - you’d essentially be proposing End of Evangelion to some degree where causality and contradiction fade - but for me it’s moved so close to the other extreme that it’s hard, really hard finding those 1 or 2 shows that give a damn. I think it’s why I’m returning to film for a bit but am still trying to give anime here a chance.

Oh yeah, I forgot chainsaw man was getting an anime adaptation and its coming quite soon. O-o Normally I don’t like watching seasonals week by week, but I think that may change this time. I mean hey, the name is so edgy enough, and I’m so edgy enough that we were virtually drawn to each other lmfao. Let’s give it a shot!

Well there’s a few appeals to zombies in fiction, but I think the general one is the dichotomy of facing your own mortality in an autonomous, physical form. Zombies are a reflection of entropy and I think some people find some allure of it in a macabre way, and it can also put you in some devastating logic equations about how an actual end-world-scenario would go down. To an extent its escapist fantasy, but I think that if fantasy didn’t exist reality wouldn’t be worth much of anything.

Regarding the 3% - you’re actually quite correct for the first season indeed! And honestly, I’ve taken quite an interests in this genre considering its a relic of the past, teen dystopia i mean, and with it making somewhat a resurgence in a spiritual sense with battle royale resurfacing I’m enjoying looking at it in a memento-mori sense.

Now then, yeah, Peaky Blinders is a pretty engaging show I’m not going to lie - granted, it got recommended me from the same woman who likes Riverdale. . . so i came into it thinking it’d be shit, but no, it’s very well written and has some likable characters, overall solid.
As for Twin Peaks - it’s interesting trying to find out why people liked it tbh, and it’s surreal with some dark humor, I’m really enjoying it!

Now it's been some time and some funny developments of Dr Strange came out - it has the fastest drop out rate of sales of any MCU film in history, by 80% over just a few weekends. The people in charge mostly believe it was from bad worth of mouth and people feeling somewhat let down, but regardless, I still enjoy it for what it was - and honestly, I know, it's weird that I'm saying this, but marvel films aren't hitchcock and I think we should try to enjoy and judge them in their own pocket dimension of sorts, it truly is the best way to view them if you ask me. I firmly believe The Winter Soldier, Civil War, and Infinity War are the most well written things they have ever and probably will ever put out - but when you take them out of their pocket dimension and compare them to other films, uh, they have a hard time standing up to the likes of something like Training Day lmao. So like, message is: let's chill people?

As for Blade appearing in the MCU - similar to Deadpool, well, it depends. Blade is an X-rated character and has a horrifying backstory, and there's very few cases that shoving an expplicit character in a teenage-story works, the most I can think of is Raven from Teen Titans lol. It'd be like shoving Guts from Berserk into Justice League. It's a strange juxtaposition I'm midly curious about for sure! UwU
