No no, not at all! I've just been reading guides, tips and watching videos of actual good players on Youtube and Discord, hahah. But it's a fun way to learn nonetheless! I can't compare to the long-time players.


Ohh yeah, I think I got her pretty early as well. My first one, besides Privaty, was Helm I think. I also love the design of most Nikkes in the game. I think that many, if not all of them, are very unique and their bond stories are also a nice way to give depth and likeability to the character!
Never heard of Rumani, though ;-;


I actually recently pulled her, so I took a look after you said this, and well, you're totally right. Jeez, forget about DPM, the JPM - jiggles per minute - is actually insane. The most I've seen so far, hahah.


This. I initially came to the game because of the "thicc anime girls". I then quit, as I've said, but I didn't really invest my time into the plot. Then after I actually did that, I found myself enjoying the game a ton!


Ahh yes, Grand Blue lol. Many of my other friends also say that said show is their favourite in terms of comedy. Mine would be "daily lives of high school boys", but I watched that show when I was still in "high school" (my country has a different school system), so a lot of jokes landed for me, I think.
Now that I'm in college/uni myself, I might - and probably should - give Grand Blue another shot!

I made an account in December 2022, I believe. Then played like for a couple days before stopping, then came back in July 2023. So you could say that I actually started this summer lol. Uh, I then threw like €75 at the game to get a 2B skin from that collab, so I quit for a while to reconsider my life choices xD.
But I play daily- just doing dailies and progressing a bit in the storyline: currently at chapter 16, but I'm still not in any deficit. No haste with clearing any levels, though :P
My account level is a pretty 125 at the time of writing! And I still need 2 more SSRs, fully limit broken, to break my wall :( But yeah, I don't mind the wait

I love the story a lot! Also because I'm a long-time Girls' Frontline player, so some things are pretty similar (suffering in the plot lol).

Who's your favourite character? Character-wise for me, I'd say Privaty (mostly because of her VA and personality) or Eunhwa. For gameplay (or when the nikkes are shooting... iykyk), I usually opt for 2B. Then pair her with Mast (also because I don't really have any "meta" characters, I believe.) Though I don't use her for bosses. I pulled that new Scarlet, so I'm using her mostly for them (or shotguns I guess)


It's like that show where, if you've seen it, you'll forever think about it as: "Good anime dub? Ghost stories." if you catch my drift xD
No but, it's one of the shows where the dub COMPLETELY differs from the sub, as the original show flopped in Japan. Aniplex went ahead and gave their VAs free reign over the voice lines, making it a comedy show with many references and adult jokes, as opposed to the original's horror story. The humour fit right up in my alley, so that's why I loved it!

Yup, Mononoke really seemed very interesting, so I dunno why I haven't continued it.
I came to know of Mononoke through Ayakashi, and I came to know of Ayakashi through Kagewani, and I the latter by... Ghost Stories! Have you watched it?

Yeah I get that. I sometimes feel that I had rather just skip the gameplay and just watch the lore than being bored at some points (I do love the game, though!!). I mean, I feel (and I think many do too) that NieR games aren't really played for its gameplay, but more for the storyline!

Now that we're on the topic of recognising things, your profile picture reminded me that I should finish a show I once started in 2022: Mononoke (right?)! xD
I found it through that Ayakashi show, which I found very... interesting to say the least (different than shows I usually watch lol).
