Owari no Still Frames isn't even close to being the end of still frames, it's got more still frames than you can shake a Fairy Tail guild tattoo at.

Commonly referred to as a gayer version of Twilight, Owari no Seraph is a popcorn show where by the end of it all, the popcorn is the only thing you remember. Generic in every sense of the word, it's impressive how non-hype this series can be at times. Wasn't this supposed to be about slaying vampires? Humanity is in danger, war is everywhere, people are dying left and right! Even if the story sucks, something like this read more

First of all, this should go without saying, but music is possibly the most subjective thing in the world next to comedy, so take this with a grain of salt.

Happy Party Train makes up for its fairly mediocre and lackluster music and cringey ass name with direction, visuals, and production values that by all means should have made it into the actual show. Never has an orange haired girl opening a mikan looked so strangely majestic, and in typical Love Live fashion, this music video sports some of the best CG in anime. It's still CG, but after witnessing some horrible CG in my life, read more

Texhnolyze joins Neon Genesis Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain, and Ergo Proxy as another supposedly thematically heavy sci-fi show that has a massive split between those who think it’s a masterpiece and those who think it’s pretentious garbage, and the reasons behind the split are similar to these shows as well. When determining a show’s quality, people take different things into consideration and order their priorities differently, such as a show’s viewing experience and a show’s substance. Texhnolyze falls into the category of having a fairly difficult viewing experience as a result of being packed to the brim with psychological aspects and themes, yet it is read more

Disclaimers: Spoilers, this review covers the Love Live! School Idol Project anime series, which means season 1, 2, and the movie, and this review will be a bit more personal than your typical review. This review is also long as fuck, and there will be a spoiler free TL;DR at the end.

Love Live sucks major balls.

Upon viewing my profile, one would probably witness a few Love Live memes here and there, a shit ton of Love Live characters in my favorites list, and possibly a Love Live profile picture, although I constantly change it so it depends. Seems like a typical Love Live fag read more

Oh yeah SPOILER ALERT!

In a parallel universe, where the male population is severely lacking and every girl is a lesbian, comes another tale of 9 of these particular lesbians who believe that their only purpose in life is to become the greatest school idols ever… except in reality 5 of them really wanted to be school idols and the others were just tagging along for the lols. Anyways, watch as these 9 girls, who not only copied the characteristics of their predecessors but even copied their damn grades, try to become the best that no one ever was…

Sounds like the type of tale that will read more

Ok, so while I'm writing this review, this son of a gun is at a freaking 9.30 mean score and the new number one anime. Hello??? What??? It's another one of those temporary GOD OF MAL moments, kinda like Erased. Except, this one is actually good!

Kimi no Na wa is my first Shinkai film, so don't expect any comparisons to his other works, like his very popular "magnum opus" known as 5cm/s. Thus, expect the mindset of a noob.

Kimi no Na wa is like plate of gourmet french cheese. While still cheesy, it's also got that fanciness that separates it from other plates of cheese. read more

How original! A Big Order review with a 1! But instead of explaining all the little details as to why this show sucks so much, I will explain why it deserves a 1 with a much more simple reason.

Big Order is one of those shows were 15 minutes after I finish an episode, I completely forget what the hell I just watched.

Not because the story is complex or deep, meaning the forgetting of a few themes here and there is only natural. (Big Order is a thematically heavy show but really who cares?)

Not because I didn't want to remember anything, since the show was such read more

Yo boys, you should totally watch this series!

However, by that point you'll have been torn to pieces.

Dear those who want to watch Katanagatari...

You may have witnessed a lot of disappointment from those who watched this show. The main reason (and sometimes the only reason) behind these instances of disappointment is the extreme lack of action. People start watching this show expecting high octane martial arts fight scenes filled with badassness, but really, that's not the focus of this show at all. Instead, what people get is talking. At least 90% of this show is just pure dialogue.

I was one who knew about this dialogue read more

Wow, what the fuck. This show.

So this was a show that I went in with quite literally zero expectations, and wow, I was blown the hell away.

Bounen no Xamdou has a confusing start. It has one of those slow and somewhat boring beginnings that would cause some viewers to drop the show after watching the first few episodes. However, to those who haven't watched this show yet, DO NOT DROP! This is a show that only gets better and better as you watch it, and I believe that it has one of the most satisfying pay offs in anime.

Bounen no Xamdou is kind read more

Kekkai Sensen!

I like to compare this show to a stereotypical American. It literally does whatever the fuck it wants.

This show is pretty outrageous with its everything. Its story is just completely out of this world, and in my honest opinion, it's pretty hard to follow. I don't mean that in a "it's incredibly thought provoking" way, I mean't that in a "basically nothing makes sense" kind of way. Read the Disqus comment section of each Kekkai Sensen episode on Kissanime, and you'll see countless comments asking "what the fuck happened?"

While the overall story line itself is fairly lackluster and a chore to follow, Kekkai Sensen read more
