If you're a sucker for cat anime, this is for you. It just portrays the daily lives of cat owners and all the quirks cats have.

Sitting by you but not sitting next to you, staring at nothing (probably a bug) for hours, eating their kibble and then yelling that its empty (its not), etc. Its just a fun anime about pet owners and their felines.

The art style and music are very cute. And although this anime is very short it still gets its point across very well.

If you are looking for a short cat anime, this one is absolutely wonderful.

I fucking adore ...

I've kept Laughing Salesman (1989) with me for over a year now, because I'm really bad at finishing longer series. But also because I didn't want to give it up. I knew nothing about laughing salesman until 2017 when the Laughing Salesman 2017 short series came out. I loved the concept of exchanging one's desires to a geniee who would give you what you desired but at a price.

He never harms children and I've noticed throughout this series he rarely harms women. Its mostly men he targets. I don't know if that has any real relevance in anything but I thought it was pretty ...

I truly enjoy the fusion of real life videos and animation. The few times I've seen it done well has left me in awe, and I can honestly say that this anime has done it fairly well.

Human error is something we all experience and this anime defines it fairly well. Murder? You go to hell. Suicide from mental distress? We'll work you hard but you might have another shot at a better life the next time around.

The main character Santa deals with folk that have lost their way in life and gives them exactly what they deserve. Is it always fair? No. But ...

This is a short 5 mins a pop anime. It is also very cute, fun, and within the limited time frame has continued to make me like each and every character. New and old. Something many anime tends to find impossible somehow regardless of their time frames.

Season 3 of Wan is just a continuation of the slice of life supernatural anime that I've come to enjoy. Creatures finding common ground in dishing out rent and other earthly duties despite their moral obligations is just kinda funny.

"Yes, your a filthy demon but the dishes are filthier."

If your looking for a short, slice of ...

I realize this won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I swear its worth a watch as all hidden gems are.

This isn't a hard dramatic cop anime. Its kinda slice of life mixed with real Japanese police tactics, and it doesn't really try to be more than that. Yes, there are are very sad/even horrific scenes in this anime, but the tone tends to stay lighthearted.

I enjoyed that it talks about how being a cop in Japan can obliterate your private life in certain aspects. As your on call in case of a harrowing event and will have to drop everything in a matter of ...

Ore is a very simple anime. Grandma owns many cats that go in and out as they please, and the cats make her life a bit more interesting. They have shelter and food if needed, and she gains that bit of oomph from them that makes life less bland.

But there's more to it. Sure, it has its realism like in the episode with the cat VS the cicada and how Grandma absolutely hated it. But the cat considered it a fun toy. I've experienced that with my cats. Just got to throw the suckers back outside if you can get them before the cat does. ...

"Regardless of where you're at, or what the circumstances are, please do not give up. If you can only muster a single step forward, please take that step." - George Abe (creator of Rainbow)

This series is based on 7 young men who are surviving through a horrible depression in Japan after WWII. Survival through theft, conning, violence, etc. This leads to their imprisonment into juvie. A horrid environment where the guards treat them like filthy, easily discardable vermin. And because of this, it forces them to become allies and later friends in order to survive their sentences.

One of the 7, Sakuragi, has been in ...

Mixed Feelings
I was introduced to Hetalia in 2011 and at the time I was obsessed! The episodes were 5 minutes a pop, but there were 50 at a time! And although it was so confusing at first, once you got to know the characters...everything became so much fun! The characters were charming, the story was either semi-historical or just silly, and it was just...fun.

The first 2 seasons were great!

Then came the animation revamp and the massive amount of glitter they put in it. The animation was no longer fun for me. Plain was better.

Then the characters were less charming, the story less fun, and me out ...

First off, I'm going to recommend you read the manga first. Its great, its short, and honestly its the funniest of any of the Househusband media so far. Granted its the original and should be the funniest, but everything else is just so weak compared to it.

I didn't know how they were going to do this, given the manga is told in very short stories that don't really run together. So I wasn't surprised that this was cut in short 3-4 min eps.

What surprised me was how stiff the animation is. I understand this isn't a long series with a lot of material right now, ...

I was happily surprised to see that this anime got a special episode, since the last episode seemed just a bit rushed at the end. And I also wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to it just yet. Unfortunately I doubt they'll be a season 2, so this is farewell to a very wholesome/sweet series.

The series runs around Heaven's crew who fulfill God's orders on diverse animals. Be it a bird that can't lay eggs or a creature that can walk on water. The problem is God never gives details and the crew is made to use their imagination (and some practice tests) in order ...
