Obake Zukan (Anime) add
I'm rating this from the perspective as a 29 y/o woman, as well as giving it a fair review if I were to watch this as a child as well.

The show is about a child being confronted with various fears (the dark, hospitals, school, etc) and having supernatural buddies help him realize how its not so scary. The buddies are a hat and a cell phone. The cattish hat is able to talk him through the various ordeals while the phone analyzes the creature/problem itself.

They help this elementary aged child into confronting and defeating these fears one by one, teaching him that everything ...

I will absolutely die on the hill that Ramune is a great anime!

Its based around Dr. Ramune who helps treat patients with mysterious diseases. Such as having dumplins for ears, throwing up black sand, and crying condiments. Is that bizarre? Absolutely. Did I shed tears in this anime? Absolutely.

What if there were supernatural phenomeon that involved your body and how you handle stress/pain/obsession? If you won't listen to your own anxiety, maybe crying soy sauce would help you get the message faster? Help you understand what your body and health are screaming at you to realize.

This kind, somehwhat eccentric, and absolutely goes ...

ABCiee is a fun, short anime about the ins and outs of running tv shows. We're introduced to an intern who although very hardworking, can be clumsy and forgetful at times. The cast is made up of tv anchor/staff veterans who are sometimes a bit eccentric and I respect how hard they work ABCiee to get him to have a bit of a backbone. Getting into the tv biz is rough afterall.

This show is fun and a great one to watch if you just need to turn your mind off for a bit and relax. There's no deep history in this show, so what ...

With a Cat and Dog, Everyday is FUN!!! is a very short series about how wonderful, frustrating, and even heartbreaking it can be to be a pet owner. I've only been owned by a cat for 3 years now, but boi did I relate to a LOT of this!

This anime battles the joy pets can bring. From playtime to the love they throw on you. And then it deals with the frustrations of feeding, picking up after, and generally trying to keep said pet safe/healthy. But then there's a very well done storyline of losing a pet, and despite how heartbreaking it is....how ...

Spoilers.

I told my closest friends how ECSTATIC! I was that this season was coming out this month! I RAVED so hard about how great the first season was! I felt nostalgia, which as I age is such a rare and hard emotion to nail down.

And you know what happened? You know what they did? They just took it all away within 20 minutes. What is this? What happened to a killer ED? Who even are these characters anymore?

The first season is slow, especially at the beginning, but this who 6 episode season was just a throwaway story. It never seemed important, ...

Idolls! (Anime) add
After the first episode of 'Idolls!', I honestly thought this was going to be terrible. But after getting used to the style, its actually a cute short series. Compared to other anime that made the Music genre in anime very unappealing to me (Actors Songs Connection), this was actually a relaxing watch inbetween darker anime.

Its a simple story about a group of four amateurs trying to become idols and giving it their mediocre all in doing so. They work hard, its just given what this anime has shown they could definitely work harder (advertise better as well), but they're still learning the steps. ...

Preliminary (11/12 eps)
I enjoyed season one so I was hopeful season two would be nice as well. Wasn't disappointed. The story is interesting and fun, the characters are well designed and charming, and despite this being a short anime it catches you. At least it did me. I would look forward to watching this every week despite it being 4 mins a pop. Its not a serious anime, but that's its charm to me. Its light heartedness in this 2020 bs is something I definitely needed. And although I do enjoy a darker anime, I needed this. I needed a show to make me laugh, smile, ...

I waited days for someone else to review this. No one has come to the ring yet, so fuck it I will.

This OVA brings back all the reasons I loved this anime. The characters. A good story can only be made from a sound cast, and this anime has it! Yeah maybe they're a bit eccentric and maybe their world/atmosphere is a bit crazy...but god is it a fun watch.

I was really REALLY happy to see that Sherlock was getting an OVA, if only just to relive the experience just one more time. And it didn't disappoint. Fun shorts with characters except without the heartache ...

Spoilers AHEAD!

Chi's Sweet Home is incredibly cute and wholesome, which is great for anyone watching a very dark/heavy anime! Cutting it with this show is just -chef's kiss- the right forumla to keep you sane. XD

I absolutely adored both seasons of Chi and after having searched for a long time a user gave me valuable information in finding this OVA. And man, I'm glad I finally got my hands on it!

Chi's family tries to fit her new collar on her, which if you have a cat, can be a very daunting trial. XD So Chi soon escapes from them to the ...

Future Folktales is set in the future where VR, flying cars, and household robots are a normality. It introduces us to a family in which a grandmother retells her 3 grandchildren Arabian stories and in doing so teaches them life lessons.

Honestly, the fact that its a Japanese anime set in the middle east is still so cool to me. We never seem to get to see middle eastern stories or people in anime often, so its a great change of pace!

I know the audience here is supposed to be more toward children but I found myself really enjoying every lesson they offered. Especially the one ...
