That's fair, I imagine it'd be annoying if you expect one thing and are given another thing. Is it really that unfaithful to the source material?

What made you drop the quintessential quintuplets season 2?

You read Monster! Is it worth reading? I've already watched the show and can't decide if reading it'll be worth it since I already know everything

I mean, I'm a huge shoujo fan, and I'm already enjoying it. Just not much to say yet other than "yup, that's shoujo alright".

Well I have read the manga, although it has been awhile, so my memories are a little fuzzy. So far season 3 is absolutely great tho. The most recent match was so good, and there are so many moments and matches coming up I'm insanely hype to relive and see animated.

I also finally finished LovCom and started Itazura na Kiss. Not much to say about it yet, pretty enjoyable so far and Kotoko is great.

And yet, even after seeing it near 100 times, I still miss it's insert on AMQ x_x

Hmm. To me, it's a film about two people drifting apart, 5 cm per second, and of slowly letting go of feelings you had for someone or something. It's a movie where, each of the three parts has been my favorite at one time in my life or another. Each section has made me go "yeah, that's exactly how I feel right now".

It's a movie about how something that once made you so happy can make you feel awful for so long. How you, paradoxically, want to let go of those feelings and just feel better, but they are such a part of how you define yourself you hold on to them. How love doesn't always end in happiness, and can bring you pain for such a long time, but that ultimately it's still worth it. It's all part of growing as a person.

To me, the movie hit me so hard the first time I watched it, I just cried my eyes out at the end of it. I felt so connected to the feelings the characters had through the movie that it blew me away. It all at once showed me that other people out there have felt exactly like I do/did, and at the same time, helped me to understand my own complex feelings just a bit more.

That's why I never blame someone if the didn't get much out of the movie. To me, it's a personal experience, and a deep emotional connection to the events, emotions, and situations the characters go through that I can come back to any day and remember exactly how I felt at various times in my life. But, I can easily understand that not everyone will experience the movie the same, or will even see the movie at a time and mindset when those things are as powerful as they can be.
