Ah I understand XD In my case, moe girls is my least favourite archetype and I may not watch anime if moe is a main character. Madoka and few other anime do have intriguing stories which compensate for it, but usually it feels meh. Some of my MAL male friends love these girls though :)
Oh LOGH is one those anime that I know are good, but cannot make myself watch them.
Yes, Momoko, Happy birthday and also Gotou ni naritai are all on the same topic and are very dramatic. The last title is the least tragic and a bit outdated, but I can recommend all three. I see this J- drama is also about diseased guy. They also have 1 litre of tears drama which is always on the top lists. I still haven't seen it as well. These movies can be sad and inspirational at the same time.
Drama CDs are not direct continuation, but great addition to the stories. Vision of Escaflowne's drama CD is the best from what I've listened to. It made me feel better.
I don't know what it is about crappy anime but I just love it haha Same with Manga tbh... there are some manga I've read that I know for a fact are shit but I love them haha
I've been good! I got a new job so I'm excited to start that wooo! Tbh I hate summer so it can't end quick enough imo 😂
Yeah tbh horror anime is usually more creepy or unnerving rather than truly scary. There are not really any movies or TV shows that have scared me in a long time though so it's not just anime.
Ooo nice! I love strawberry and lime kopparberg cause it's soooo refreshing. I also fee like hot days mean you just have to drink a shandy too haha
OMG, it's already 3, but I think it will change with time. I'm sad that HxH is on the 7th place. It used to be 3rd T_T.
Anime movies, yes. I didn't find much of good Japanese live action series. I'm more lucky when I randomly watch them. If I pick something from top lists I usually don't like it, but that's only with dramas. With anime it's easier to find good stuff.
No, the first Momoko title is probably stupid Ecchi or hentai. You should check the 2nd Momoko which is a long title. Ah, I tried Akachan once, but the baby's crying sounded too unrealistic. I may need to check English dubs or something else. In some Japanese anime I'm moved by crying scenes, but some of them feel fake to me for some reason.
Yes, but some of them can be like continuation of the story. Sometimes interviews with the cast are included which is also nice. They can explain some things about their characters.
Yeah they're great episodes because they have to have maximum creepiness in a short space of time. I'm an idiot and decided to watch a bunch before bed and freaked myself out haha
Omg ur so lucky! Wish I had a supermarket that close then I could stock up on some cider which is an absolute must-have in this weather haha
My Chinese and Japanese (rudimentary) are better than my Korean (non-existent) so I don't think it affects me. But for sure there's plenty of J-dramas to watch. I had a lot of fun cooking dishes after watching Midnight Diner on Netflix, let's just say I thought the goal of every episode was to make me cry, and episodes are short, same length as anime (20-24 minutes). It's really great to watch but might make you hungry and might also make you cry. The feels ...
I have some plushies in my room, lots in the kid's room. Many Pokemon and other plushies. The Dango I was trying to buy was like 14 inches? That seemed to be the size of the one in Clannad. So quite big but they wanted $400 for it and even at that price it was sold out ... holy cow. I wish I had sewing skills.
Have you tried listening to Japanese audiobooks or drama CD based on anime? I found some drama CD which made good addition to the franchises like Slayers, Escaflowne. Some drama CDs are like fanservice OVAs with perverted jokes.
I love twisted anime/ manga (I know, I'm weird haha). I'd recommend Yami Shibai - the episodes are really short (like 5 mins) but they are so freakin' creepy! Plus there are A LOT of seasons for it. A new one came out this season too.
It's absolutely boiling in London too. I've managed to avoid going outside all day cause I just can't deal with the heat haha
Well, yes, our country is so big that it is cheaper to travel to Europe than to some parts of Russia.
Air is slow paced and that's the problem. I listened to Air audiobook once and it felt better to listen.
Yeah, cool! That requires daily practice in order not to forget kanji. I understood it when I tried it. It's interesting and useful for brains
I'm planning on following Shadow Houses, Nagatoro and To Your Eternity this season at the very least, because their first episodes were very strong. I might start Shaman King too since I never watched the OG animu or read the manga. And yeah, Mushoku was a lot better than it had any right to be lol: I could've done without the pervertedness or at least I would've preferred if Rudy worked on it along with other shitty parts of himself (and I reaaaally hated the borderline pedo pandering with the Eris fanservice), but everything else was great so I couldn't help but love it anyway.
I also started the Fruits Basket remake (took me a long time) and it's incredible. I'd completely forgotten how good this manga was, and the new adaptation is great!
Btw what will you be watching this season?
Hahaha usually when the professor starts asking the question I prey to God he doesn't ask me cuz I wasn't paying attention for the last 30 minutes xD Or I just do a little sneaky thing ad disconnect the internet from my laptop for a few minutes so I have an excuse if he asks me something xD
Yes. There was actually a lot. For example Dr.Stone 2, Horimiya, Uma Musume 2, Beastars 2, both Cells at Work. Yes. It's really weird how those 12 weeks passed so quickly :x
Oh, yeah. I also started binge-watching Initial D with my sister hahaha I just noticed you have the first stage in your fav anime. I never thought that as a person who has zero knowledge about cars I can get so hyped about this anime xD We're currently on the Fourth Stage which I like a little less tbh.
Of course I do! I've been playing the game since 2010 I think hahaha Right now I have a break from The sims cuz I got a little bored but it's completely normal in my case.
Yeah. At this moment I honestly understand you and actually can agree. Back when I was writing the previous comment I liked it much more than now. I really like Miyamura. He's so cute and does everything to please Hori. Tho somehow I stopped liking Hori after the weird outburst of her having enjoyment over Miyamura treating her like trash. Tho I probably shouldn't judge people's fetishes xD
I also like Toru. He's a good guy. From females, I probably like Sakura the most.
I'm really grateful for the advice - I just don't think it will work with my anxiety level hahaha
Oops. I'm sorry. I've been thru some serious shit for the last 2 yrs and it really fucked me up. Every time someone tries to even joke about dating me I'm getting overprotective cuz I'm just still traumatized from past experiences.
YES I DID! I really liked it. Gant's rampage on the bridge was awesome hahaha LOL I loved watching Top Gear with my dad. I have zero knowledge about cars as I mentioned but the guys from Top Gear had awesome energy and charisma to them.
The cycling special made me really miss cycling... I love cycling but after the injury, my condition is pure trash. I remember going for a walk just after I was able to walk again and I got seriously tired from walking... Guess 2,5 months of not being able to move does it's job to your body.
Hahaha, the whole Ashley situation really fucked my mind. I'm not watching all the episodes right after they air - I also do not watch the other 2 trash taste channels unless there are some highlights so the first time they mentioned Ashley I was like "who???"
Siegwulf after playing too much of Marathon xD
Yeah. I heard about it from my friend who lives in the UK. Here the vaccination process is going slower than a slug. So good for you! :D
We're currently entering a 3rd wave...
