I rate shows based on comparison, 5 is average, 10 is perfect and 1 is a nightmare. I don't really rate shows anymore to be honest, most shows don't stay with me after a few years and whats the point in scoring it if it wasn't even memorable enough to stick with me. Might seem lugubrious but I cant be bothered enough anymore, if its special enough for me to rate it at all then its a good sign.

People often ask me why my dropped list is so long, I have a tendency to check out many shows and I have become rather adept at feeling for a bland show in the first episode or two. I don't have the patience to watch things I don't feel is worth my time and anime is a genre full of mediocrity

Some of my other favorites that didn't make the top ten but I still enjoy (not in any specific order):
1. First season of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
2. The Grisaia series
3. Some of the Fate series (fuck Apocrypha)
4. Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo
5. Amagami SS
6. Bake and Nisemonogatari (I think the rest of the series is overrated)
7. Sakamoto desu ga? and Meikyuu Black Company (my favorite comedies)
8. Some of Naruto
9. Bleach, Gin is best character, fight me
10. Black Lagoon and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
11. Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai
