Dang, yeah I only got around to IV on the Chronicles PSX release... I don't quite understand how that was a "hard type" though, lol. All the FF games have been pretty damn easy to me, but back then I was big on power leveling and stuff for the hell of it, so that might be why. I do know I power leveled Cecil a lot on the final dungeon, I'm pretty sure Zeromous beat the hell out of me the first time I tried. It probably was the toughest FF for me.

VIII was definitely a joke, maybe that's another reason why I didn't get to into it again, it was just SO easy. I remember in my old game I grinded on the Heaven & Hell islands and had junction setups so my characters absorbed 100% of every element, lol. It's hilarious how godlike you can get in that one and VII. On my SNES copy of VI I maxed some people out to 99 as well, so pointless but fun I guess, lol.

I'd really like to replay IV again though, I was replaying the GBA version and got to the Underworld but kind of stopped. I'm not a big handheld gamer though so I blame that! The graphics update was kind of nice though. Actually I'd like to check out the remake sometime too, since I hear it's not bad. But I really do love sprites and the original stuff.

Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana/Evermore, and Seiken Densetu 3, those ones I've played countless times throughout the years! Love those games.

For me my first JRPG was Mario RPG, heh. I still love that one too.

One Piece's music is ridiculous, it sounds like classic stuff to Final Fantasy to Suikoden to everything, lol. Love the music to death, I try not to look up tracks right now though in case of potential spoilers, haha.

I wish I could find the one that usually plays in serious moments though, like when a big boss like character pops up or something... I can't really think of a way to describe it, lmao.

Funny, KT just replayed VIII too... I think I got him into it when I brought up this theory I found that was kind of cool. Maybe that's why you replayed it? Then all of sudden he beats it when I stopped on the second disc, haha. I loved the game back then though when I first played it, I just don't think it has the best gameplay in the series, the drawing, etc, didn't completely pull me in again I guess. IX I've only beaten once as well, I really want to replay that one again sometime. I have a feeling the chances of finishing that one again would be higher since the gameplay was better. Oddly I have a lot of problems with VII, but I've beaten that one several times. I started that one up while playing VIII here recently and maybe that's a factor to why I stopped... haha, though I didn't play much of VII since I got busy with other games. I still want to replay it again soon though. I guess I like to jokingly say now I'm somewhat of a closet FFVII fanboy, but I don't really drool over the characters like its fanbase does. I just love the setting, gameplay, music, etc, way too much.

In the end FF wise I'd say VI is my favorite, beaten that one probably the most. I liked IV a lot too.

I can definitely see myself replaying Xenogears throughout the years. I kind of already want to do it again now, lol. But I'll wait until I really know I can power through it again!

Yeah I got through Xenogears shortly after KT did I think, late last year. I don't get around to many RPG's thesedays but I always knew it was a big one I always missed out on, boy am I glad I played it! Probably one of my favorites now next to Suikoden II and some others I'd say. If it were an anime it'd be top 5 material hands down, heh.
