It's crazy how many adaptions HYD has gotten. Lots of other work that has borrowed from the formula as well. Haven't seen a Thai drama yet. I'm mostly a KDrama and CDrama viewer these days. But I'd be up for it if it turns out well.
68.5 GB for that set. I'll have to hit those up next time too. Looks like it has been 10 years since my last viewing as well. I've already seen it 4 times though, so it doesn't really feel that long. Should be a sweet upgrade even though I've been perfectly happy with the LDs.
The dreaded invite system...
I'm pretty much caught up on everything old school. Only have a handful left in reserve. So I'm having to wait on groups to finish some projects. Captain Tsubasa should be done soon. That's a biggie that I've been waiting on for years. Dr. Slump is coming along. Attack No.1, Ace wo Narae 2, Captain Future, Idol Densetsu Eriko etc. Hopefully I'll get watch some of them in the next year or two. I've been waiting for Live-Evil to finish Queen Millennia for well over a decade and we're finally getting close! lol... So I'm probably going to check out a bunch of newer stuff from the last handful of years that I've missed. Off to a pretty good start with Welcome to the Ballroom. That was great and it clearly took from a lot of the best sports anime. Ippo more than anything believe it or not. I do have a lot of newer sports shows to watch so some of those should be good times.
Just Baka and Nyaa. Baka going private a few months back makes it impossible for me to even link it to you. You'd just get directed to the sign in page. Old stuff on Nyaa isn't seeded well at the moment either. So no luck there. I wonder when Baka is going to open up registration again. Do you still have the LD version of Touch if worst comes to worst?
He's been on a break for 21 months already haha. It became the longest break thus far as of a few months ago. The good news is that he already wrote a really good ending for the remake. There is a 21 chapter arc after Chimera Ants that is awesome and leaves off better than any of the previous arcs. Seeing how he hasn't written anything since... (other than one chapter teasing the next arc), I'm assuming that was how Togashi and Madhouse intended to end things from the start. I think the anime will end up being anywhere from 136 - 144 eps total. Depending on pace the rest of the way.
It's been great. Aoki's fight with the classic look away (lol), Ippo vs Sawamura and Takamura vs Eagle is what the season is revolving around. Also, the Kamogawa's backstory which got skipped over in New Challenger is going to be animated this time around. So I'm excited about that. One of the most interesting things is how the music from the first season has carried over into Rising. The NC/HxH remake composer is back as well. So it's like a 50/50 deal. But I'm happy to have the old tracks best. They fit the series so perfectly.
Howdy. *Tips non existent hat* I assure you it wasn't over night lol. It's been my steady same old pace for the most part. Gotta say though, this has probably been my best year in terms of quality in since probably around 2005. Lots of great old school titles appearing and some really solid new shows. It will probably be hell trying to figure out my yearly top 10 this time around.
Oh yeah... Wangan Midnight. I forgot about that one. How is it so far?
