Welcome back! :) how are you doing this Satuday night?
gwendal738 May 12, 2016 8:14 AM
Right?? Fon and Jacques ;; I would love to see them get animated in all their thinly-veiled shounen-ai-ness.
Technoforever84 Apr 25, 2016 12:51 AM
I'll add more tommarrow, but I just sent you the best 80's techno and pop that are my favorite back then.

Well, it's certainly nice to meet someone else who doesn't care for Maison Ikkoku. For a while, I thought I was the only person on the planet who didn't like it.

Wow, for someone who has watched so much it's crazy you haven't seen it already. Now I actually rewatched it perhaps 2 weeks ago as I wanted to see how I still felt about the show. I want to say that I still have solid positive remarks about it. However what you (I assume have heard) is true, the second arc is not as good as the first. I still reccomend, based purely off of the first arc's ability to suck you in. It's a quick watch as you end up watching multiple episodes at a time.

I definitely have Rose of Versailles in my plan to watch list. Its been in there for a little while now. I expect good things :).

Thanks for leaving a message behind, and yes as of right now Lotgh is by far my favourite show. There is no question. Have a lot of good memories from it.

I'm almost done with Rose of Versailles and it's been pretty good, so far.

Yes, ginger and honey work well, too. I also have a lot of VHS tapes (non-anime). I'm guessing you patched a plasterboard. I remember I used to do plasterwork before panelbeating.

I would very interested to hear about your projects. Sometimes when I get a stomach ache, I take hydrated baking soda (sometimes with lemon). Yes, Venus Wars is a good movie. It's interesting that you got that movie on VHS and I have no anime on VHS.

I think I'll keep messaging you here, it's just that I have this feeling that websites don't last forever and stuff plus I want to be prepared and not lose contact with any real friends that I may have from MAL, like you.

How are you Cadraire? I finished Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust and it's a good film. Now I'm watching Perfect Blue. Btw, I was wondering if you can be my e-mail penpal.

I wanted the old microwave so I could take out the transformers as seen in this site, but with some customization: http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-a-Microwave-Transformer-Homemade-Welder/

Yes, though not exactly everything. As for Pluto, I hope it will get an anime someday
Kurt_Irving Mar 27, 2015 8:18 PM
That's exactly right and you took the words right out of my mouth. I am having a lot of rain this month. You have have more sunny days than me.

I also got out of sheet metal repair just now, but I'm also glad I got an old, beat up microwave oven to take out its transformers and tinker with them.

Yes, I don't get why the Black Jack OVA got some supernatural elements, myself either. But then again, the TV series had some aliens and other strange stuff happening.

I haven't read Pluto, but it's too bad it never got to be animated like Metropolis, Astro Boy, Kimba the White Lion or Black Jack. Iirc, my mom said she used to watch Kimba the White Lion a long time ago, but anyway I'll read it when I have a chance. I also want to get into more of Osamu Tezuka's works, eventually.

Hello, so you're almost done with the Black Jack OVA series? nice! I have yet to watch it myself, but I want to see the anime films that you like, but never got to watch myself, next. I think I saw Choujikuu Seiki Orguss on this Youtube video about 80s anime opening theme songs.
Kurt_Irving Mar 24, 2015 8:10 PM
I couldn't agree more and I have yet to watch the Red Jacket series and The Mystery of Mamo. Speaking of anime films, you got great taste in movies.
Kurt_Irving Mar 24, 2015 6:38 AM
Cowboy Bebop is a great anime, which imho, has been inspired by Lupin III. Speaking of Lupin, I never got to see the 1971 TV series, which is said to be very close to the manga. Faye Valentine seems kind of similar to Fujiko Mine. Jazz is another thing they both have in common.
