Some characters here and there but you can't deny that the concept is the same from 1997 and the 1999
The concept wasn't altered or dramatically changed.
"Naruto is a young demon fox that goes about life in the form of a young boy. Because his father attacked the ninja village and caused a lot of death and destruction, the villagers are distrusting of him..."
This is still applied to Naruto's 1999 manga release. So the term he used as "ripoff" shouldn't be used for he incorrectly/abused what it means.
