ufotable To Animate Touhou Project [Update Oct 11]

According to the official website, ufotable announced a collaboration anime project of Anime Tenchou and Touhou Project. The anime will be shown at Animate Ichioshi Bishojo Anime Matsuri to be held on November 20th.

It's one of the ten projects to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Anime Tenchou. A new promotion anime of the manga will also be produced by ufotable.

Zun tweeted that he is not involved in the production of the anime and he considers it to be a secondary creation.

Not true or rather very unlikely.
I mean Ufotable worked on this and they most likely will sell DVD since it will be their only noticeable income.
Tough the DVD may be out in half a year for all we knows.

Well if I recall correctly yeah Zun gave his approval.

Not really an approval, but....
ZUN stated it was a secondary work. He has no involvement in it at all.
